“This was the 2nd time dining in at Ichiban. The food is fantastic and the service is amazing. Gary and Ling are the proud owners and ensure your experience is perfect. Ling makes the ramen broth from hand and Gary came and sat down with us to just chat. You don’t find this type of service and care these days. Ling gave us complimentary mochi and a box of macaroons. My parents had a family business in Nebraska and I know how much heart, work and money goes into making a business successful. I will definitely be back… next week! 😊“

“Hinata Sushi is my family’s go-to Japanese restaurant in Alexandria. The food is consistently really delicious, with good portions and fair prices. The lunch specials are a really great deal— highly recommend.
The menu has a broad range of Japanese appetizers and dinner options, and both the hot food and sushi are excellent. Sometimes at other restaurants, the hot food is better than the sushi or vice versa, and that is not the case at Hinata. The kitchen dishes and sushi are always delicious. I especially love how fresh the sushi dishes are.
The service is also gracious and attentive, and the restaurant environment is not loud and always clean.
Hinata is a neighborhood gem on every level!“

“An excellent sushi place off the Little River Turnpike, straddling the line between casual and elegant. Perhaps more old-school than modern, but that doesn't detract from the food and service.
Absolutely great place to sit down and chill, or to enjoy a great meal. Doesn't have to be sushi, they also have Thai.“

“Really cool experience! All the food is fresh and delicious! They have a wonderful array of options to make your Hibachi Bowl. I personally got a Pick 2 Combo with steak and shrimp and I loaded the bowl full of almost all their options. I brought the whole family and everybody was very happy! I would certainly recommend Sakura Go!“

“I cannot stress enough how amazing the food was, yet somehow the service and atmosphere were even better. I've had Shrimp Tempura at every restaurant I've ever walked in that served it, and it was by far the best I've ever had here.
The Beef Japchae is most likely made with magic. And I'm coming back just for the sushi. I tried 4 different rolls (Spicy Crab, Spicy Tuna, Samurai, and Hurricane) and nearly ordered a 5th. Also try the Seafood Pancake. Or try everything, also good advice.“

“This is one of the best Japanese steakhouses I have ever been to. I have been to a handful but this place has always been my home. I have been coming to this place since I was a child and before the new owners. It has yet to disappoint me with anything. Atmosphere is always great and the food is even better. I miss Kawasaki because he would do the craziest things like throw an onion from across the room for a free meal (which I caught) some of the best memories of mine have come from here. I 100% suggest if you haven’t had hibachi before.

“I came in 25 minutes before closing, yet I was greeted with open arms, smiles, and was told to take my time. The food and service is absolutely amazing here. Fresh food is always the best and they delivered on that too. Cleanliness is top notch as well! Javier and Jose are great representatives of this company. I came all the way down from near Baltimore to shore some homes, as I’m a real estate agent; I would definitely make the trip again just to come back here. You’ve earned a loyal customer. “This is my favorite teriyaki chicken place in Southern Maryland. They're always moving fast to get you your food as quick as possible and they allways package it very neatly and easy to take home. Very friendly people, it's obvious they take pride in their work.
If there is anything to complain about it's only that they usually keep their television on a station that plays slightly trashy TV shows. Other than that I always leave satisfied and happy to support this business.“

“Their Tiger Roll is by far the best shrimp tempura roll I’ve ever had. So good I ate it twice in one day and I don’t live right around the corner either. Plus their prices are awesome, especially when calling in to pickup rather than using a delivery service. I’m kicking myself for just now knowing how great this place is for as long as I’ve been in the area.“

“I watched a co-worker having what I referred to as "a food fantasy". They recommended this particular location for its service and food. My waze directed me to the location which is adjacent to the JCPENNEY parking lot in a strip with 2 other businesses.I arrived midday and was welcomed by a pleasant woman near the door. Within 5-10 minutes my meal was prepared which was a combo of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with veggies, noodles, green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce.The staff was very pleasant and appeared to work well together as a team. The portions were generous and I would definitely eat there again. After I got home I too had "a food fantasy". My vegetables were perfectly cooked, not hard or overcooked. The meats were tender, fresh and flavorable.I have since eaten at two other locations and have come back to this one for a new combo. This time I added steak and the next time I will add salmon which came highly recommended by many people.I would definitely recommend this location, the service and the food options.
Parking: In front of the business are several parking spaces. The overflow lot of JCPENNEY is available as well.“

“This place is so fun if you love a variety of Asian foods, and this evening I happened to walk in on a fantastic live jazz band playing by the bar. Last time, we had Korean tacos and tempura, this time I’m having croffles, miso soup, and spaghetti. (I know it’s weird but it’s all so delicious)“

“Taste of Asia is a local mom and pop restaurant in Alexandria where my family frequently orders our buffet style party trays from — we would highly recommend the Orange Chicken, Lo Mein, and stir fry options. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the staff is always friendly.
Pro-tip: order catering from Taste of Asia — it’s been amazing for us every time“

“We come here for lunch often because it’s close to the office, and the sushi is good quality at a decent price with good service. It’s a special place to celebrate birthdays and promotions. I especially appreciate how anytime I’ve encountered a small issue or misunderstanding, the owner went above and beyond to clear things up and make it right.“

“I've never been here before, but I'm glad I came by. The place is nice and well laid out. The staff was very nice. They have a big menu. There is a lot to choose from. All the food is cooked to order. All the food was delicious and great tasting. The restrooms were clean and looked good. They have a full bar and drink menu here also. I will be back again to try some more. There is plenty of parking out front. The area is a little sketchy when it gets dark but seems ok overall. Good food and good people. I would give them 9 out of 10 stars.
Went back again the general tso chicken was great. The kobe wings with the sauce was delicious. The ramen was excellent and was a very large portion.“

“When we went there was no other customer. I love the fact they made everything to order. The guy who took our order was great!!! The food was awesome, although the chicken was a lil dry. A disappointment was they had no sweet tea or lemonade!!! This was my first time eating there. I had never heard of them, but I'll def be returning!!!“

“I ordered delivery from Sarku Japan, and it exceeded my expectations! The food arrived hot and fresh, and the portions were incredibly generous—definitely enough for leftovers. The chicken teriyaki was packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and paired well with the rice and vegetables. Everything was well-packaged, and the delivery was on time.
If you're looking for a delicious, filling meal that doesn’t skimp on portion size, Sarku Japan is a great choice. I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“1. Food Quality (4.5): This is an excellent sushi place for the price. I recommend the unagi Roll. While it's not going to be a mind blowing experience, it's a hidden gem here. It's definitely the best casual food at MGM.
2. Service (4): You need to order at a kiosk, which is slow and inconvenient, but it's feasible during lunch hours. Ideally, there would be a mobile card reader, so it's possible to order at the sit -down area. Otherwise, the service is good
3. Food Safety (4): Allergens are not clearly listed anywhere. Otherwise, this place is good
4. Value for Money (5): The value for the meal, considering the location, is fantastic! The eel roll was $12-15, with tip.
5. Convenience (5): This is a fast casual restaurant. It's fast and flexible, you can take the dish to your room or to the tables nearby.
6. Ambiance (3): It's a sit down bar surrounded by other shops, so not much of an ambiance.
Unique Value: This is a fast casual place with great food for the money. Definitely recommended.“
