More importantly I am convinced the ingredients are locally and sustainably sourced unlike other places where the ingredients have been overly processed/preserved. If you understand ‘fresh’ in terms of food, this is the place to be.“

My husband is from the area and the owners literally watched him and his friends grow up, and every time we come in he asks us about our family and how we’re doing - it’s just so wonderful! Very rare to have such connections these days and that’s part of the charm!

The kitchen is immaculate too! I was a restaurant manager and have seen some things but you can clearly see that they are well above standards!

You truly cannot beat the service, the price is spot on, and it’s just a neighborhood staple. In a world of curbside and delivery, Tippys is just this nice place where you can see a friend and eat good food.

“Great food- we had coffees, a breakfast burrito and the avocado toast - it was the perfect morning stop. Sitting outside on the patio was perfect and Rishard, our waiter, was so welcoming- great sevice and recommendations. We’ll be back!“

“Music was blaringly loud and it was difficult to converse with my friends, however that doesnt hold a candle to everything that this restaurant does right. The food was absolutely phenomenal and everyone in my party was extremely happy with their meal. The portions are very reasonable, and the prices are too. I didnt think you could get such inexpensive prices around this area, and for the quantity and quality of the food, I cannot recommend this place enough. Easy 5 stars, I will be returning, with more people.“

“Looking for a fun activity with our family before Thanksgiving, we chose bowling. The prices were definitely cheaper than commercial locations. The place was clean with stations every few lanes with balls organized by color and weight. There were ramps available for anyone to use if necessary. There is also the ability to set bumpers to raise and lower for an individual in your group. You have the ability to edit your score, which is great because a few times pins would fall on their own and add to the score. There were options for scoring using regular bowling rules or other fun games. While we didn’t eat there, but there were plenty of food and drink selections. My only issue was the balls were very oily and the finger holes were very small. Staff said that’s how they were ordered but offered me a small container of baby powder to use.“

“The food is good here. It's on the same order as Chipotle.(Go down the line and add what you want) However, it feels more at home style...where you can customize. Plus I believe they have more variety of offerings. They have shrimp and steak too. I usually get chicken....Burritos Bowls Tacos Quesadillas and more.“

That happy hour “Wicked” drink they have…it was everything! You should definitely try it. I think it was $6 during happy hour. It was very tasty-I had two!

We sat at the bar. Our bartender was nice and she had good conversation. It was a nice start to the night. I really hate that I don’t remember the bartenders name because she deserves a shoutout.

Oh, and the mozzarella sticks were super cheesy!! They were yummy!!“

“The biggest selling point is hands-down the free chips and salsa bar. Getting unlimited chips and a great salsa selection without being charged extra easily puts them ahead of competition. I usually get the Homewrecker bowl with chicken—the portions are huge, the black beans are well-seasoned, and free guac is included. Do not skip a side of the Famous Queso; it’s worth every penny.

It’s reliable, quick, and heavy-handed with the portions. I'll definitely keep coming back.“
