Starbucks in Frederick

“I came through the drive thru this morning and was having a hit of a rough morning. I came up to the window ready to pay and as soon as I go to give the associate my money I hear a girl behind me yell, “I love you John!” He made my day by giving me my drink this morning as a nice gesture. I told him, “I can see why they shouted I love you!” Hahah you’re the best John! You made my day, I love you! 🥹🙏🏼“

“I went through the drive through around 2pm today (Monday) and your team was on point! Extremely helpful service and they moved the long line quickly and efficiently. I asked about a Java Chip Frappuccino because I hadn't had one in a long time. Although it is no longer on the menu, they said they could make me one. Can I please tell you that this was the best Frappuccino I have ever had from any Starbucks!! I fear that I will be chasing the perfection of that frapp for the rest of my life. Haha. Absolutely delicious. Whoever made that drink knows what they are doing and should be the corporate trainer. Thanks for the delicious treat and friendly smiles. You guys are the best!!!“

“This is more so a rating on a staff member than the establishment (though the times I’ve been here, it is well kept, bright, with lots of natural lighting. There are a variety of seating, and some patio as well. The staff have always been friendly and attentive and the work area are kept clean and appealing). I happened to go through the drive-thru today and was greeted by Dennis. While I was driving through, I was on the speaker phone with a friend. When I got to the window Dennis proceeded to ask if i needed napkins and a drink topper and all the time was very pleasant. As this may seem menial, these days, and at a drive-thru, it was an incredible breath of fresh air of the great customer service Dennis provided. Just the simple inquiries made a great start to my day. Even my friend heard the entire conversation and they said that they felt great, and they had nothing to do with the whole transaction. I’m sure Starbucks has other wonderful employees working at the store, but Dennis met me today and I wanted to give a shout out to him.“

“The food and drinks are great. I've been going here for 10 years, and the service has always been on point. Beyond that? It's apparent that they care about what they do--all of them. Even after all this time, with almost completely different staff, it still feels that way to me.

Maybe part of the reason things feel so warm and laid back for everyone is also because of the atmosphere here. This location seems unique to me from the others I have gone to in the area. It's not minimalistic and bare like some of the other locations around here. There's this Scandinavian, modern-rustic aesthetic with hanging pendant lights and a double-sided fireplace for indoor/outdoor areas to enjoy both. This hits the relaxation vibe everyone needs but that not many other places offer.

Everyone working here puts great care and effort into what they do and the service that they give every day. They deserve to be treated with the same care from customers and from corporate in return.

“Came in here for the second time today. First experience was great. Came back to purchase 3 more drinks and use the bathroom. There was a young lady at the table next to us. There was an empty chair. We asked if it was free and the young lady said, yes.. my dad is right over there. This WHITE man assumes we made her get up and starts going at it with my sister. The TWO workers in there told US o calm down. We weren’t even aggressive. America today SUX. These 3 workers SUCK! And I will never come to this location again,“

“I love Starbucks but it is getting extremely expensive and sometimes not so good. It depends on who is making it. I switched location because my one I had been going to for about 17 years is getting new people in, that after spending almost $7 for a drink, was not good.“

“This particular Starbucks is located inside the Giant Food Supermarket at 3530 Sugarloaf Parkway and as such, could be easy confused with the stand alone Starbucks located at 3400 Urbana Pike Urbana, MD.. The photo is from the 3400 Urbana Pike, not the setup inside the Giant Supermarket. Therefore, one hopes that the reviewers do not mix the two locations up inadvertently. As such, there is a limited menu at this location, mostly beverages and cold pastries. The setup was recently moved to the left hand entrance in order to give more room for the customers. The beverages are well prepared, at least for the chocolate Frappuccino's that I like to order. It is a good alternative to the stand alone Starbucks a few blocks away, especially on a very busy Saturday when the drive through at 3400 is really backed up.“

“The Frederick trading Post Starbucks always is a pleasure to go by! The workers are always friendly. Always greet you. Call you by your name and just give you such good service and if it's not right they will make it again right quick but I have not had a problem in a while and even if I did it would not be a big deal always made by the recipe so refreshing just the right amount of ice. As always, pleasure to go by and get my treat your self drink, And right now that is the vanilla blonde latte with the sweet vanilla cold foam, absolutely delicious!!“

“Closest location to my hotel and my second time here since I've been in MD. The baristas are all so friendly and pleasant. My chai tea latte was perfectly made and my bagel was lightly toasted as requested. I love this Starbucks. They need to come to MA and train the baristas near my home.“
