“I spend far too much money at Starbucks indulging my daily espresso and breakfast rituals, with the result that I know every local Starbucks better than I should probably admit. For my money, this is the best Starbucks in the area, bar none.
These are the best managed, best trained Starbucks staff around. This might be the most trafficked Starbucks I routinely go to, and if not it's certainly one of the two busiest. But whereas at the other one the pickup line routinely backs up, it never backs up at this one. The baristas here are incredibly efficient. Each day I place my online order and by the end of my 5-7 minute commute there, it's always ready, no matter how many others are being served. It's also consistently well made.
The instant any customer walks in, they get a friendly greeting from the Starbucks staff. The staff are scrupulously diligent about this, as they have clearly been trained to be. Also props for the friendly notes they write on the cups.
It's rare that there's any sort of glitch here, but if you order enough times from anywhere, there's bound to be one. One time I ordered some beans and paid for them with reward points. When I got there, I learned they were actually out of those beans. They offered me my choice of alternatives, but I didn't want any of those -- I wanted that specific blend, though I didn't want to be a PITA about it. In a flash, the manager called the next Starbucks over, just a couple of minutes away, and arranged to have them give me a bag of the beans I'd just ordered. I just went over and got them. Easy peasy.
I hate to nitpick, but I do have one. This Starbucks serves a generally affluent locale clientele, which means entitled people do come in. It's rare, but it does happen, that some people rudely conduct phone calls or video calls with their phone speakers on. Again, that's very rare. But all too common is people bringing their dogs in. There is zero reason for any dog other than a service animal to be inside a Starbucks: dogs have little interest in espresso beverages, and the furnishings are manifestly designed for humans, not dogs. And while dog owners justifiably love their dogs and have become immune to their smells, the basic fact is that the smell of dog sweat, drool and other excretions detracts considerably from the flavor of beverages people are paying top dollar for. It's incredibly rude.
It clearly puts the Starbucks in an uncomfortable position, because they don't want to alienate their loyal clientele by telling them to leave their dogs outside. So it's incumbent upon customers to show some manners, and too many don't. Leave your dogs outside, people. If you can't spare a few seconds even to do that, then either get up one minute earlier to make time, or skip your morning Starbucks run. But it's surpassingly rude to everyone else there, even if no one is telling you that.“
“I just stopped by to buy on pambking loaf handed the cashier
$50 bill at the Starbucks in 12179 darnstown rd.she told me she doesn't have a change.
Which I found not convincing.
I purchased from before with a different cashier and i didn't have any issues.
Starbucks need to be more professional and put sign said that no change for $50 bills.
One day it's ok and one day it's not ok
Is depending who is the cashier is profiling and that's is completely wrong.“
“My favorite location. I love that they have a 24 hour window. I've had many late night trips while working late into the night or overnight. The staff it's always very friendly. I would like to see more vegan food options. An vegan breakfast sandwich with vegan sausage, Just egg (egg substitute), and vegan cheese would be great.“
“I've been happy with this Barnes & Noble and the Starbucks inside consistently is well staffed with friendly people. Their dessert selection is outstanding! They always have a variety of beautiful treats that are often better than what I can find in local bakeries. It makes me look back to college days of hanging out in bookstores and browsing through something new while snacking on something delicious!“
“I went into the Safeway this morning and after I ordered, I let the woman behind the counter, Seble, that I was going to shop and then come back. And when I do return for my drink and food, I find that she has entirely prepped the drink for me, but waited to fill the ice so that way if I took a while while shopping there wouldn’t be any watering down or melting in my drink. It is this type of consideration and thoughtfulness that I have always believed we need more of in retail. It is what I tried to embody when I worked service jobs. It truly brightened my morning to say the least. Thank you Seble!“
“Just wanted to write a great review for Alex at the drive thru on Friday morning July 10th, he kept great energy and was very patient with the my family in the car while we didn’t know what we wanted! Which I know could be annoying … lol. But he was happy through it all and even told us we looked like a fun car! Anyways thank you for the good laugh in the morning (=“
“Haili truly excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Her attention to detail is impressive; every drink is crafted to perfection, and she always remembers your favorite order. Her friendly demeanor makes each visit enjoyable, turning a simple coffee run into a delightful experience. Highly recommend her service!“
“Top-tier execution from a crew that truly understands how to build community. The level of focus and precision they bring to the service is impressive, but it’s the welcoming, neighborhood energy that makes this spot stand out. A perfect example of high standards meeting a real human touch. I’m not in the area as often and I definitely miss the awesome staff and hope to make it back soon. ツ“
