“This place was nothing short of amazing!!! Service was great , beer was top notch and the food was.... well the food was as good as food can be????. Definitely will be”
“This is a great place to relax and hang out on the weekend! It is a typical local bar with regulars having conversation, food, and drinks! The fried pickles are delicious!”
“We hadn't been to the Glen Rock Mill Inn for years. What a wonderful treat we had dinning here. The food was fresh and flavorful and the ambience was perfect. It is well worth the trip.”
“Very reasonable prices. Excellent, personable staff. Haven't ever had a bad experience. Online ordering works great. In restaurant dining is quiet and yummy.”
“My wife and I dine here often always pleasant servers food is always delicious when there is a problem with the food they always take care of the problem with kindness and ”
“This is my first time stopping here. It’s along the NCR trail, which is fantastic for walking or riding your bike. We stopped here to use the restroom while riding our bikes and noticed the Monkton hotel. They have a little café, so we got some food and a cup of coffee. The coffee had a good flavor (not weak) and my ham sandwich on toasted sour dough was great. Cute little place with a lot of history. They also have outside seating.”
“Went there last week. Prices were cheap for what you get and will get you full. Our food came in around 10 minutes and was hot. I recommend the Pizza Hoagie for anybody coming here. There is biking parking in the front, for anybody wondering.”
“We love going here for a fun dinner as family with our small children. We also do our large family parties here too. The food is delicious and the cooks are fabulous”
“No matter how busy, the service is always stellar.I have enjoyed every draft I’ve ordered. This is a business I appreciate every hardworking aspect of.Solid 5 stars.”
“We love this place! We usually eat here once a week. Everything we've tried on the regular menu is delicious. The weekly specials are always creative. The owners are very genuine, fun, down to earth people. Good vibes all around.”
“Delicious food!!! Met up halfway with a friend and decided to come here for dinner. We both got our own personal pizza, I got cheese and she got the margherita. My cheese pizza was gone quick! It was so good. The place was small on the inside but had a lot of tables to sit at. Theres about 3 spots infront of the building next door and a parking lot around back. We went around 6 pm and it was on the light side for crowd, which suprised me.Service was just ok. Friendly enough. It wasnt that expensive too just for 2 people at a woodfire type place!I would definitely go back for the food!Parking: 3 or 4 spots in front along road and plenty in back”
“I need to return! I had a latte in the cafe and did not shop because I was passing through! But the market looks amazing!!!! The cafe staff was friendly, latte delicious! The baked goods looked spectacular. Check this place out!!!”
“This place is a hidden gem. Surprisingly good food (think high end diner food and breakfast all day). An acquaintance mentioned how good the seafood was here so I checked it out....It's not Costa's or Bill's Terrace Inn, but boy for what it is, those were some pretty darn good scallops. Very family friendly. Nice place, we will visit again.”
“rode our motorcycle down from York PA last night for a nice small meal. Wife had the BBQ flat bread Pizza and I have a Quesadilla and a beer each. Service was spot on as we sat at the high top tables. Server (she) was amazing and we left a 40% tip. Grew up in Freeland just down the road and always stop here when we can.”
“Jalapenos Mexican Grill is a surprisingly pleasant discovery in the area. The food is great depending on what you like. I think the burritos are the best choice I've made so far. I typically order with extra meat to fill it out fat! The chimichangas are likely good for those who prefer them, but I wasn't a fan of the fried taste. My son likes the tacos, but I think they're a little pricey and not loaded with all the things I would like. I have not yet tried the Peruvian specialties, but I hear they're great. The service is great - not perfect - but they make every attempt to serve you well. I had a problem with my order - once - and they were eager to correct it at no charge. Store is immaculately clean which tells me they definitely focus on all of the details that make for a quality establishment all around. Go get you some!!!”
“Place is great for food, drink, and to watch sports. I am having my rehearsal dinner here and Lauren was not only a pleasure to work with but made us feel like family. Service was great. Also as a Marylander I can say their crabcakes are fantastic! Real large lumps of crab! Will go back.”
“We hosted a celebration of my father’s life luncheon and it was amazing. We met prior to set the menu with Tom and his Chef. Their recommendations and guidance was so helpful and accommodating to our family. The day of the luncheon was so very special for all of our family and friends. The food was amazing, everyone kept telling me how good everything was. Equally important their entire staff made it so very special and were so accommodating. Thank you all so much, especially Tom Alderman. Marie Piermatteo Novak”
“I went to Friendly farms for my brothers 75th birthday. It's been twenty years since I was there and it's surprising that it hasn't changed. The food was very good, the only thing was the cost was too pricey ! There was 3 people in our party and it was. $140 !!! That's not counting the tip !! The server was very nice, her name was April and she did check on us a couple of times and very pleasant !!All of the sides were just the way I remembered....but I couldn't pay that price unless it was a special occasion. They used to have a small shop which has been closed since the pandemic. They did sell bakery goods but I think charging $18 for a pie was too high!!We were glad we tried it after all these years !!”
“Had a sweet girl and gentleman fix 2 subs I ordered, they were so friendly. Especially that girl when I messed up my 1 order. To bad, I didn't get their names, but they were wonderful and patient.”
“This was our first time here since the new owner took over. The reviews were mixed, so we took a chance. I am so glad we did. The subs we ordered were over the top, full of meat, and very flavorful, especially with the smoked bacon added. We also ordered the fried mushrooms, originally thinking they were expensive, but once we received the order, the order was more family sized, and the marana sauce served with it was very flavorful.I highly recommend thus place”
“Thank you for the wonderful wine tasting at Royal Rabbit. Giovanni and Roy were so both so welcoming, kind and invested in their craft. You can tell they really care about their wines here. Each wine we tasted were bright and flavorful, definitely make this a stop on your tours. Im sure it’s quite beautiful here in the summertime! Easy parking.”
“Hands down the best ice cream/coffee shop! Their ice cream flavors are unique, well executed, and satisfying. They add new flavors periodically, always offering vegan options as well. My favorite is their banana nilla flavor, as well as the black raspberry and teaberry. Their coffee ice cream legitimately tastes and smells like a delicious cup of their coffee. The staff is always friendly and they have preserved that historical building so beautifully while also bringing it new life. This is a place I find myself wanting to spend some time just relaxing, too. We need more combination coffee shops and ice cream shops in the world!”
“I have lived in the Hereford Zone for over 25 years and love patronizing local business. I usually try to stop at Dough Run once a week. I love their cinnamon rolls, best around until my last one. They are a bit pricey but it would be a rather large roll. The last one I bought was a third smaller but same price. I do know there is a new owner and there are adjustments that are made but the cinnamon rolls were were just something I looked forward to when I am there. Hopefully, they will get the rolls back to the correct size. Still a great place to stop in and grab a snack and some great coffee.”
“This is the Hereford Zone's go to place for subs and homemade soups. Though small, it carries a big profile in the Zone. Fiil'er-Up's charitable contributions to the Hereford Zone. Cash is King with a 10 cents discount on gasoline at the pump.”
“The service was attentive and excellent.I loved the bench that had a truck door as the back. It is a small, intimate bar and restaurant. The prices are reasonable. I saw they have wings on the menu, so I will go back so my husband can try their wings.”
“It's a walk up window service ice cream shop. I know the owner, he is a top quality guy. The ice cream is excellent and as a result so are the milkshakes. My wife likes the giant snowballs, they have a literal wall of flavors to choose from. Old school candy, colorful store front, and they take credit cards/tap/apple pay.”
“I stumbled into this place because I had some time to kill. So cute inside. Warm and cozy. Everyone was friendly. Really liked the atmosphere. It’s a pizza place you want to hang out in. Food good too!! Everything well stocked and it was clean!!”
“Love this place! I’ve just returned home after 8 years and have been exploring different local, mom and pop, types of places. Great atmosphere, prices and people!”
“It's my favorite local place to visit and have a great breakfast. It's nice when the staff all know you and know what you order! This is also my favorite place to pop in with my mom for our weekly coffee and catch ups. ( Of course, great food, too) They have a lot of selections to choose from!”
“Every time we order crabs, they have been incredible! They’re always heavy and seasoned perfectly! The customer service is always amazing…it feels like you’re calling a friend about bbq/crab feast va placing an order.”
