“after hearing people speak about how great k pots were and seeing videos all over my daughter wanted to try it. the other day I saw that hazlet NJ on RT 35 was open so for lunch today i took my son who is 5, my daughter 9, and myself. it was a HUGE WASTE OF 75 DOLLARS. so you have to pick either from the korean BBQ or the hot pot. so my son and I wanted BBQ my daughter wanted both...the server told me if she wanted the soup we ALL had to have the soup which is an extra 5 dollar charge PER PERSON. if it was ONE big bowl of ramen to share id understand but they brought 3 individual bowls like ordering soup from somewhere else, so they basically force everyone at the table to add it if only 1 person wants it so that went to waste. shortly after starting to eat her meal my daughters stomach started bothering her weird... but anyway the food was already cooked so i asked the server if i could have a box to take the food home that we ordered and made, to eat home because my daughter didnt feel well. we didnt over order at all there was 3 of us we ordered a plate of garlic chicken, a plate of garlic shrimp, 1 plate of pork belly which is literally 2 slicices, and 1 plate of beef and a few veggies. if you have been here you know the plates are SMALL. so she said she couldnt give us a box but would have to charge us 13.99 a lb for the food to go...so my question is, WHAT DID I SPEND 75 DOLLARS ON? I didnt order more and cook it to try and take home just my first original order. also the food was bland no sauces or seasoning for the bbq they don't explain anything to you very well so if you've never done it you have no idea how long to cook the vegetables and everything else like potatoes and corn! they would take forever to cook. so they were hard and raw still after almost 35 minutes. this place is a ripoff and kind of a scam. when you go to dinner does EVERYONE HAVE TO ORDER SOUP AND BE CHARGED? NO so the manager came over and being my daughter wasnt feeling well he " only charged me 5 dollars" for food items already paid for. I dont recommend it especially if you have kids. and dont want to be forced to pay for things you don't want, oh and the Ramen we were forced to pay for that my daughter just wanted we weren't allowed to take that home either! its mind boggling. I understand at a buffet people fill plates and dont eat and then want to take mounds of food home but this was literally less than a pint of food for 75 dollars and that's their " lunch" price. I give the place a few months before they close. 0 out of 20 stars!”

“My girlfriend and I come to this longhorn all the time at least once or twice a month. We order the exact same meal every time. So that's how we could tell something was wrong with my gfs steak. The experience is usually great. We visited on 10/17/24 we both ordered ribeye 12oz med-well but my gfs steak looked and tasted way different than mine. Mine was cooked very well and hers had the well done look and was very rubbery. She sent it back to get it re cook and Sydney(I guess she was a manager or something) brought it back out and gave her a med done steak when we asked for med-well Sydney proceeded to say that's just how we do our med-well steaks hinting to us that's how they do all their med-well ribeye steaks even though that's not true since my steak came out perfectly. Her tone was unwelcoming and we did not appreciate that. She tried to make it seem like my gf didn't know what she was talking about. We both took a bit of offense to that because we are normal customers here and our waiter adrien could attest to that. Our waiter Adrien was very professional and did a great job with the experience.”

“Came in on a recommendation from a friend. Sushi was very good (spicy tuna and spider roll). Service was attentive and prices reasonable - $50 for two specialty rolls and a basic roll plus edamame. Decent beer selection. Sushi menu has a lot of options. Place is a little dated in a strip mall, but sometimes those are the best secret spots.”

“Moved to Germantown 3 and half months ago and came here for the first time last night, Judith was our waitress and she was great! Service was fast, food was amazing, the staff were great..even the security people! We got to witness 3 birthday celebrations they do and the performance is quick & fun!! Ricardo came by at the end of our meal to make sure we were good and helped pack our leftovers to go! Great things to say about this place and will definitely be returning. “Went here with some of my buddies. The staff were very nice and checking in was super fast, the waiter was super kind to us and made sure we got our orders correct. The chef was very fun and kind whilst cooking our food and the food itself was wicked tasty. The steak had some really chewy bits I could not blitz up but granted it was only a few pieces and I ordered medium rare. The soup and salad was sensational and the sauces provided are on point. The chicken livers and fried rice are done exceptionally well, and you get a complementary cake on your birthday. Highly recommend this place to any gatherings, small parties or hangouts.”

“Jamaica Mi Crazy was my go to for Thanksgiving dinner 2022. The food was amazing! My choices included ox tails, peas and rice, turkey, cabbage etc. The meat was succulent and seasoned to perfection, just the right level of spice. My table was gorgeous and my guests loved the meal.The service and attention to detail with my order was on point and the chef was definitely to be complimented. I've recommended the restaurant to friends in Frederick, Loudon County and Fairfax County. I am looking forward to the same service and outstanding food this year!”

“Finally we have a good Pakistani restaurant in Maryland, that we don’t have drive an hour to get to! I have nothing but rave reviews for Zaiqa BBQ. my family and friends love going there. the food is fresh and delicious. The establishment is new, service is friendly. bathrooms are clean (which is a rare find in desi restaurants sometimes). Some of our favorites are the Butt Karahi, Shinwari chicken karhai, beef Chapli kebabs, chicken Tikka and goat karahi. Last week I catered food from them for a party at my home. It was a hit! Their beef haleem is of professional level. People always find the time to write a review when they are unhappy. I spent the time today to write a positive review because I feel this restaurant deserves it! keep it up, and we will keep coming back!”

“I am from Baltimore and while working in Germantown I wanted something to eat other than fast food. I went into Paisano's around 530pm and was greeted so nicely by a young woman. I did not want a sub because Montgomery Co normally you get a steak um and that is what I am used too. I ordered the chicken Parmigian with pasta. Wow the sauce was amazing, pasta was perfect, the breaded chicken was covered in cheese. The garlic bread was so good. Great price, large portion that I could not finish. I told the girl behind counter that the food was awesome and it made this fatboy happy. I am 6'4 & 280lbs and I wanted to hug everyone but I did not want to scare anyone. Thank you!”

“My family dined in to try more authentic Chinese because we don’t like most American Chinese food.

Our server was so kind and helpful with me deciding what to order. The soup he recommended with beef strip was so good! It was spicy and flavorful. The mushroom soup is delicious with its subtle flavors. My daughter got a beef strip dry noodle dish that rivaled the spicy soup, it was so good. We tried a few small sides that were hit and miss for our preferences but I’m still happy they were available for us to try.

The dining room was typical of Asian dine in or take out, nothing fancy but clean, quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the service as much as the food. I’ll return for take out given I’m not familiar with Chinese etiquette and worried I sent away to get it off the table since we all tried it but weren’t fans, might have caused confusion or offense unintentionally.

I’m glad this place in is the community. I really enjoyed tasting authentic Chinese for the first time in many years.”

“I'm on the fence about this. The cidery itself is a nice place to hang out, and lots of room. The soft pretzel was delicious, and I'm glad they had some non-alcoholic choices. My main peeve is about the other patrons (and how the cidery ignored it.) Several people had their dogs off leash, and the dogs were clearly untrained. One dog in particular was running around, jumping on other dogs. My dog was triggered by this (after the second time it happened.) We chose to leave early because of this. Obviously having dogs is fine, but please enforce the on leash policy. I'm scared to come back with my own, rule following dog again.”

“As I was sitting down eating my ice cream. It was absolutely scrumptious btw. I could only notice that the vent was slightly askew. Going to investigate I found that the vent actually was a route to my grandfathers coffin and cried so many tears. Of joy. Becuase we thought we had lost his coffin and body in a shipping accident. Turns out it was an elaborate scheme originating with his murder. I would never have found this out with Dairy Queen. Thank you Dairy Queen.”

“I am an absolute fan of this taco truck, I’ve probably ordered somewhere between 60-100 tacos in the last year, I put all of my friends on to this place because of the authenticity, I only give it four stars because in the last two weeks of ordering tacos, my orders have been accepted and “made” according to Uber Eats and for two Fridays in a row, my uber driver did not deliver my food so im not sure if this is an issue with the restaurant or with uber but im highly upset. I order tacos around my work schedule and to order tacos and then find out they’re not being delivered AFTER they’re closed feels like betrayal im not going to lie.”

“Walking in I was greeted right away. I was asked if I was going to dine in or takeout. I said dine in and was handed a menu and was told I can pick any seat.

The waitress came over and took my order. Breakfast Burrito, Blueberry Pancakes and Coffee! She asked what I wanted with the Pancakes. She mention potatoes, tomato’s. I opt’ed for the tomatoes since it was already going to be a good amount of food. I did ask if I could get a spicy mayo with the burrito. Sadly she said no. It comes with a salsa.

Coffee was good hot and fresh. Food came out. Everything was hot and yummy. The burrito had a classic omelette flavor. The salsa didn’t really add much to it. Sour cream was also served with it. I doubt I would get it again. I would just get a omelette. The pancakes were loaded with blueberries. Phenomenal!

Service was great! The waitress refilled my coffee 3 times. The aesthetics, it feels like the deli could use an update. You can tell it’s an older place. Still clean and all the plates, silverware, glasses were clean. Some people might be put off by how the deli looks inside.

Overall very good experience!

Parking: Plenty of free parking

Wheelchair accessibility: Entry way is a little tricky but plenty of room and chairs and tables can be moved.”

We started with the Som Tam (papaya salad), which was excellent. For the main dish, I got the drunken noodles with chicken, which came out so temperature hot (but not overcooked) that I had to let it rest a little before eating it, which is a good thing since I like my food really hot vs. just warm. He got the Basil Pork Crisp, which I tried and was just delish! I wish I had gotten it although mine was very good as well. Nice sized portions (I had enough for another meal). Highly recommend.”

“This has nothing to do with their food or the inside. However I saw them do something a few minutes ago that I need to share for them. A lady was evicted and she sat outside all night with her stuff so nobody would take it. Today she got a uhaul and was hauling all her furniture alone. I didn’t see anybody she knows helping or just anybody in general helping. Until today I saw employees at five guys helping her load the truck. They went beyond their job title. It was just truly awesome of them to do this.”
