“I had such a wonderful experience at Paris Baguette today, thanks to Mayleen.

I came in hoping to buy a specific cake for my girlfriend’s stepmother’s birthday, but unfortunately the last one was purchased by the couple right in front of me. I was honestly pretty disappointed.

Mayleen immediately recognized how disappointing the situation was and handled it with such kindness, empathy, and professionalism. She sincerely apologized, took the time to make me feel valued as a customer, and even went above and beyond by offering me slices of another delicious cake as a thoughtful gesture.

It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about a customer’s experience the way she did. While I didn’t leave with the cake I originally wanted, I left impressed by the outstanding customer service I received. Employees like Mayleen are exactly why people become loyal customers.

“I got a coldbrew coffee, my daughter got a sandwich. I like their coffee, especially the cold brew. Many of their competitors seem to try to outdo each other on how much they can burn their coffee beans; I am not a fan of that. The booth was dirty, and the restroom wasn't fully clean, this is kind of typical of a business that is this busy and doesn't have enough staff to send one out to clean often enough. The bathroom had a combo lock, but they are free in giving the code to customers.“

“Edit: second visit, JUST as good. These are the freshest mochi donuts I've gotten within a 3 hour drive of Baltimore. They're so fresh that they taste just as good after 24 hours and only slightly stale after 48. This is great for me because with the long drive this is a treat I prefer to enjoy over several breakfasts. HIGHLY recommend. Don't have to worry about flavors being out of stock because they will make them fresh for you!

I drove over an hour to try the mochi donuts here and it was definitely worth it. There aren't any places that sell mochi donuts near where I live, but they're my favorite. The store was clean and organized, I didn't have to wait at all and there was plenty of seating.

The mochi donuts here were fresh and had creative flavors some of which I hadn't tried before (lemon poppyseed for example). The blueberry one had whole fresh blueberries on top that tasted great. My favorite flavor, ube, was out but the employee told me she could make more. It took only a few minutes. I really appreciated that they can make new fresh ones on the spot!“
