“My favorite place to get coffee in DC and a great neighborhood gem! They use counter culture coffee. I especially love their seasonal drink menu, and always crave their black and yellow coffee drink (lemonade and espresso). I’m not normally a sweet coffee person, but this place is an exception because of how well crafted their drinks are (think similar to a nice cocktail bar). I love that when you dine in, they include special toppings with their seasonal drinks. The place is cozy, well decorated, and the perfect place to catch up with a friend. Food and cocktails are great too - especially for a quick meal / breakfast / snack. My favorites are the sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and ajiaco soup.“

“This was our first time. Although it was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday the place was very busy. Staff didn't always speak English but they quickly found someone who did. The food was excellent and we were well taken care of. Definitely worth going back. Surprised to learn they have been open almost 10 years but until they started to list on OpenTable we had no idea.“

Do not forget to order a smoothie to go with your pupusas. The banana smoothie was just that: smooth and satisfyingly sweet with the savory pupusas.“

Sizes good portions, reasonable prices, you can feed two people to beyond full with a drink for $30, it’s all freshly made in house to order and turn around pick up is never longer that 15/20mins. I don't know what's going The music that the DJ plays can be a little bit too loud or the sound needs to be improved. The place is big if you're trying to watch a game, there are a lot of TVs. You can find a variety of beers, mixed drinks liquor bottles,Michelada is my favorite.“

“Great Salvadoran ?? food! One of the best in town for pupusas and pescado frito. A great veriaty of menu options to fit your cravings, like yuca con chicharon (yuca with fried pork), savory beef and chicken dishes, and the frescos are also great.“

“Just went in to check out the food, and ended up ordering the chef's bowl (lettuce, rice, chaufa, pico, potato, guacamole and brisket. It was tasty. The brisket was tender and had some flavor. The potato could use a hint of salt, but overall, it was good. We also tried the shrimp empanadas, they were nicely fried, creamy on the inside, overall pretty good. The yuca fries were nicely fried, but had no seasoning.
They're very light with the seasoning, but I'd come back to try more of the menu.“
