“I luv this place for carryout lunch. I usually get the tofu and mixed vegetables (2 orders), and it's always fresh and delicious. You can look from the counter you order from back in the kitchen and always see tons of fresh produce being prepared. The staff has always been friendly, and the quantity and quality is quite good for the price.Prices took a jump of about $1 on a previous $8 order , but that's typical inflation I guess. otherwise food is quite reasonable.“

“Our three children and their godparents (our best friends) dined at Shi Miao Dao Noodle House to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday yesterday. Every dish served was packed with flavor. After dinner, I mentioned that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and they gave her a complimentary bubble tea. As we were walking out, my son ran back to the table to take two more large bites from his bowl of noodles. This morning, he asked if we could go back for lunch today! When I told my children I was writing a five-star review they shared the following reflections:

Son, age 9: I recommend the golden beef noodles. You should also get the shrimp and beef soup dumplings! Their service was awesome and fast!

Daughter, age 12: I would recommend the golden shrimp rice noodles. It's great if you can't handle a lot of spice and if you like shrimp. I would also say that the soup dumplings are the best I have ever had. The service is spectacular. This is place is the best!

“The noodle soup was so flavorful and was perfect! I had the signature dish Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with thin noodles. The noodles are hand pulled and made fresh every day and you can tell by the excellent texture and flavor! My new favorite restaurant! Also we were honored by four songs excellently played on the baby grand piano. Thank you for a delightful dinner, perfect service, and inviting atmosphere. “Absolutely amazing. I ordered crab rangoon,philly egg roll and Shrimp Lo main and I tell you the noodles are a 10 out of 10 not overcooked or undercooked nor dry. “We visited this evening. Food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the soup dumplings! The staff was super courteous. I had brought in dessert (a cake) from outside and they were super nice about it. They even offered to refrigerate it for us! After dinner, they brought us fresh plates, forks and a knife. Despite being very busy they also don't rush you too much.“

“Tried them for the first time today and am sold. Best Chinese food my wife and I have tasted in ages, and we lived in NYC for 4 years. Singapore mei fun - excellent. Happy family - excellent. Combination fried rice - excellent. Shrimp egg rolls - best I've ever tasted, anywhere. Steamed dumplings - very good, but the wrapping was a bit thick and the sauce was a bit scanty. We look forward to trying many, many more selections. Great job!“

I ordered the Orange Chicken, which came with steamed white rice, a Vegetable Spring Roll, and a Cheese Steak Roll through the Uber Eats app. The food was absolutely delicious 🤤till the point I didn’t want my food to finish. First, and most importantly, the food was incredible. We ordered a bunch of dim sum, and a scallion and egg fried rice. Overall, we ordered the pork soup dumplings, shrimp shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, beef pastry, gluttonous, rice, Chinese burger and the scallion and egg fried rice.

The food was delicious, especially the shrimp shumai, the beef pastry, and the fried rice.

I consistently go for their wontons in hot sauce (so good), their Signipore Curry Noodles, Sum Gum Wonton Soup. They do the wonton/egg drop for $1 more (or so, ask them….).

This is awesome. The food is on point. I only have seen the super nice, quiet mannered lady w working the counter, and a gentleman behind her working in the kitchen with her. Whoever this person they complained about no longer works there. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences and it seems most people I see in there at the same.
These are nice people and they deserve to be told so.

The food is quality, fresh, I haven’t had anything in the menu I didn’t like. I love to cook, so I don’t eat out much. And even with that, I probably stopped here 2-3 times a month, which is a lot for me eating out.

I don’t even write a lot of reviews. But these folk deserve a 4.5 rating.
They deserve the success of their hard work and quality service.

And I rally love their cheesesteak egg rolls! Can’t forget about them!

“This is my go-to spot in Mondawmin Mall whenever I’m hungry and need something quick, cheap, and filling. I’ve ordered from China Yum at least 8–10 times now (mostly online pickup or delivery), and it never disappoints. The portions are HUGE — one combo plate (General Tso’s or sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll) easily feeds me for two meals, and it’s only $9–$12. Chicken is always crispy, sauce is flavorful (nice sweet heat), rice is fresh, and veggies are cooked just right.
Online ordering is smooth, food is ready fast even during lunch rush, and the staff is friendly and gets the order right every time. Delivery through DoorDash/Uber Eats comes hot and accurate too. For mall food court Chinese, this place is consistently the best option in the area — way better than average. If you’re shopping at Target or just passing through, stop here. You won’t be mad.
