“This is a really good soul food restaurant, and I’m not sure why the ratings aren’t higher. I had the macaroni and cheese, which was fresh, creamy, and delicious. The greens were well-seasoned, the fried catfish was good, and the seafood salad was outstanding. I also tasted my man’s turkey wings, and they were great too. Overall, everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying. Definitely worth giving this place a try.“

I moved to Washington DC 13 years ago and travel twice month to Baltimore to get the best chittering, pig feet, hog maws, collard greens and potato salad in DVM. “My daughter and I tried The HH BBQ for the first time a few weeks ago. The best tasting food we’ve had in a long time. I had the ribs and they did not disappoint!! The ribs were tender, moist and very flavorful. My daughter had a cheeseburger and she loved it! The price is affordable. We watch every week for the location near us!! Not only is the food delicious but the guys who serve are courteous, polite and always have a smile on their faces. ♥️“

“I can't say enough about this place. It felt good from the door entrance. Three greeters welcomed us at the door. We did not have a reservation so they sat us in a very comfortable and quaint siting area while they picked a beautiful couples area for my wife and I. THE FOOD. OMG. I got reggae pasta with salmon. The flavor was the best I ever had. My wife got the salmon cakes but me being greater, dipped her fish cake into my pasta sauce 😋 🙃 😐. It was over. The live musician with all the singalong hits really pushed them over the top. Needless to say, i doubled my tip.“
