“Good service and good food. Staff were nice and helped us find wants we wanted. Around 25 minute wait, made to order. Stewed chicken was amazing, so juicy. Fried quarter leg was a touch dry on one side, collard greens were good, yams are great and super sweet, same with sweet tea. Mac and cheese is good, not gritty or dry. Corn bread is good, needs butter. Definitely would recommend and we will be going again.“

I have had the fried chicken, fried fish, fried liver with gravy, steamed crabs, chitterlings, home fries with onions, fried green beans, collard greens, mixed vegetables, vegetable lo mein, and fried cabbage. My son loves the cheese steak subs.“

I moved to Washington DC 13 years ago and travel twice month to Baltimore to get the best chittering, pig feet, hog maws, collard greens and potato salad in DVM. “I'm not a "foodie". I just eat because if you don't you'll die. Additionally, I'm a very picky eater. The food at Miss Toya's was outstanding! I had the grilled pork chops, which were very tender, flavorful and smothered in a tatsy brown gravy. The sweet potatoes reminded me of those my mom used to make and I really liked the steamed cabbage. Service was outstanding! Attentive, but not hovering. Tje restaurant was well lit amd confortable. I will definitely be back!

Parking: Restaurant is in an outdoor shopping center, so parking close is a premium.“

“My daughter and I tried The HH BBQ for the first time a few weeks ago. The best tasting food we’ve had in a long time. I had the ribs and they did not disappoint!! The ribs were tender, moist and very flavorful. My daughter had a cheeseburger and she loved it! The price is affordable. We watch every week for the location near us!!
