“We had the best experience for my daughter’s Birthday Jan. 8th! Lynn our server was excellent from start to finish. She made sure everything was good and checked on us periodically. She brought my daughter and son celebration balloon hats, birthday candle, ice cream and sang with a drum!!! It was a wonderful memory my family and I will cherish. Our food was fantastic! My daughter and I ordered sushi 🍣. My son ordered salmon teriyaki and my husband ordered the salmon hibachi. Everything was fresh and had great flavors. Amazing hibachi noodles, wished we lived closer. We will definitely be visiting again when we’re staying at the great wolf lodge.”

“The Vineyard is a neighbor of ours. We have had customers come in and tell us how amazing the vineyard is. We decided to give them a try. WOW!!!! We were a party of 6. We ate 6 different dishes and every bite was mind blowing. The panko chicken was amazing, the spring salad with shrimp was the tastiest salad I’ve had in a long while. Needless to say, we will be back with family and friends. My son from California that was visiting HdG said their steak sandwich (lunch menu) was the best sandwich he’s ever had. This coming from a true Californian who eats everything under the sun. Great job Chef Ron. It was a true pleasure chatting with you. Keep up the amazing job. Oh and the staff??? The friendliest, happiest and attentive bunch ever.”

“Not my first time at Bella’s Tea Room (Six times in all). Being from England originally I found It to be very authentic and the surrounding very Much like a Tea Room in the English country side. The sandwich’s, cakes and scones were delicious. The last time I was there we were a party of 26 ladies. The service was very good and Al and his staff were very friendly and nice. My friends and I cant wait to go back”

“**SO GOOD I STILL REMEMBER IT A YEAR LATER**

We found this place completely by accident.

We had driven to Perryville to pick up an online Ikea order from the nearby warehouse, and needed somewhere to eat while we were in the area.

I was not expecting anything special.

Then the food came out.

My wife suggested ordering the meatballs as an appetizer, and I am so glad she did.

They were clearly homemade.

Tender. Flavorful. Fall-apart good.

And the sauce was excellent.

Not bland… Not watery.

Not “generic pizza place red sauce.”

It tasted like someone's grandma was cooking in the back and actually cared.

Then came the pizza, which was just as impressive.

The crust was thin, crisp, and beautifully done.

The kind of crust that actually snaps a little when you fold it.

That is my kind of pizza. Just like in New York City.

What made the whole thing even better was how unexpected it was.

We were not on some carefully planned food trip.

We were not going out of our way because someone told us this place was famous.

We just happened to stop in because we were nearby.

And somehow we ended up having one of those meals you keep thinking about long after the fact.

It has been almost a year since we were there, and I still remember how good those meatballs and that pizza were.

That says everything.

Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Honestly, based on our experience, it is worth the drive.

P.S. I wish I had photos of the amazing food, but before we realized it, we had eaten everything! Time to go back!”

“My gluten free pasta in the baked ziti was very al dente. I would have preferred it not be crunchy but the flavor was delicious. I'm hopeful that when I reheat the left overs that it softens up a bit. Great choice for gluten free option. I also got the gluten-free pizza. I am not isually a fan of gluten-free pizza but it was really good! I didnt get sick which is always a big win since I'm a symptomatic Celiac. I will definitely come back.”

“My family and I came from Baltimore to visit family in Havre de Grace. We stopped downtown for some Christmas Displays. We wanted some coffee and parked in front of Concord Point Coffee. I walked up and pulled on the door as I realized they were closed. As I turned around to walk away a Gentleman opened the door and offered us to the restroom If that’s what we needed. I explained we just wanted some coffee and didn’t realize they were closed. He said “we still have some coffee come on in”. He gave us 2 coffees and didn’t charge us after he was closed. I’ve never been treated like this by an establishment EVER. Thank you For your kindness and the coffee was really good as well.”

“First time trying this place and I already love it! I got a six pack of cupcakes and tried a carrot one and I'm not being dramatic when I say it's the best cupcake I've ever had. It's not overly sweet to the point where I cringe, and it was nice and moist, just how a cupcake should be! They had a limited amount of specialty donuts on hand but that doesn't matter - they were very generous and sweet and asked which ones we wanted individually.

We will definitely be coming back. Thank y'all for the amazing birthday donuts :)”

“Miss Twist is easily our go to ice cream spot year round. Whether it’s the middle of summer or the dead of winter, we’re always happy to make the trip, and yes, it’s absolutely worth it even when it’s cold outside!

The prices are very reasonable, the service is always fast and friendly, and the quality is consistently excellent. Their soft serve is some of the best I’ve had. It’s super creamy, smooth, and nostalgic. It honestly reminds me of grabbing an ice cream cone on the boardwalk during a summer vacation.

One thing I really appreciate is that no matter how busy they are, the staff is always welcoming and efficient. It’s the kind of local business you find yourself returning to again and again because you know you’re going to get a great experience.

If you’re in the Havre de Grace area and craving ice cream, Miss Twist is a must visit. We love it and will keep coming back for years to come! 🍦❤️”

“My daughter and I had a great lunch here today. I got the crab melt which was sooooo delicious. I’ve noticed in recent years that crab dishes are really iffy to order out because so many places aren’t using the good stuff. This one did not disappoint. The tomato, bacon and cheese really complemented the crab too, perfect proportions of everything. It was a good sized portion - I took half of it home. My daughter really enjoyed her salad too.

What really made the lunch special was our server Alex. He made us feel really welcomed. He was so friendly and outgoing with a great sense of humor. I will definitely ask for him when I go back! Staff like him make a huge difference in the dining experience. Thank you Alex!”

“We ordered from Chesapeake Grill for the first time through DoorDash because we’re new to the area. Their open face turkey sandwich is absolutely delicious! The turkey was freshly sliced, the gravy was amazing, and it was like I was eating at an amazing diner that we Locals love!

My son got chicken Alfredo and he ate every last bit of it. The cheesecake was so delicious! We will definitely be back again!”
