“We got lunch here for the first time today. Wish we had tried Gilroy's Cafe sooner! I got a garden salad with grilled chicken and the boss got an italian cold cut. The food was excellent, as was the service! Brien is so personable and friendly. The location is also easy to get to with ample parking. When I pulled into the parking spot, I noticed a small vegetable garden right next to the entrance of the cafe, with beautiful ripe tomatoes on the vines. Sure enough the salad and the sub both had fresh tomatoes from that garden, and they were superb!

If I had one suggestion, it would be to get the website and Facebook pages up and running. I noticed some great specials on the chalkboard behind the counter. It would be great to be able to see the daily specials online before calling in our order!

We wish Gilroy's much success, and hope to make this a frequent choice for our monthly employee's lunches!“

“I give this place a 4 star the chicken was very good however I don’t think it is some of the best around like some people said.Also the fries are unsalted along with the mozzarella sticks that are not that good. However their staff is very kind so it gets a 4 star rating.“

“There appeared to be only one person on duty at the time. She was extremely slow and appeared to be very distracted by the outside of the building. I approached the counter and began to give my order. The person on duty left the counter and proceeded to get a chair to prop open the doorway.
As I ate my sandwich the person on duty did this again with another customer. It was rather weird.“

“Treated the kids out to dinner. This was our first time eating at Charley’s. Walking through the door, Sophie greeted us with pleasant vibes… almost as if we were her regulars. Ordering process was fast and easy and food didn’t take long at all. Everything tasted hot and fresh. The cheesesteaks had the perfect portion of steak and the meat had a really good taste, seasoned well. The bacon cheese fries were phenomenal. For dessert, we had these little cinnamon & sugar bites which was served hot and fresh… just wish it came with icing to dip em in. Washed everything down with a mango and watermelon lemonade. Both were delicious and had real fruit pieces in it, freakin awesome! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning in the near future, but this time I think I’ll get double meat on my footlong steak sub. “We pulled up 3 minutes after the establishment closed, but we saw the open light on from the road. The gentleman who opened the door to tell us kindly they were closed. As we walked away he opened the door and said to us come in and we will take care of you. We were returning off of a long commute from VA and everything was pretty much closed to grab a bite to eat. “I just had the best sub I’ve ever eaten. I went in because I wanted a good hoagie. I was on the phone talking about what I was looking for in a sandwich and the gentleman working overheard me and suggested I try the Bootlegger assuring me he would hook it up …OMG. It was incredible! I wish I got his name to properly honor him but I will be back & hope to see him there so he can work his magic on another hoagie for me. “I work nearby here and I often stop in to get food after work. The employees are very quick which is nice after a long day of work. I occasionally eat there, they have a fireplace which is great when its cold outside! I generally get a coffee here too which is convenient in the mornings esp with their breakfast combo. The new footlong cookies are great too. Greatful for their attention to detail on the mobil orders I have always gotten very accurate orders. I only go to this location in baltimore“

“You are not here for a Micheline star dining experience. You are here because you want a satisfying lunch to get you through the day, and maybe to pickup a drink or some snacks. Emerald City delivers on that. The service has always been dependable and the variety of what you can get is fairly wide considering this is a one-person operation. Tucked away in the basement, this place is practically the definition of hole-in-the-wall. Its good, satisfying food and extremely convenient.“

“This is the best subway that I have ever been to. I’ve been going here for years and every single time it is fresh and the ladies who run the subway are amazing. I go to many different subways and they do not compare to this one. The meats are cut fresh the bread is fresh. The cookies are fresh and they are very friendly highly recommend.“
