We seriously love this place.
Plaza Mexico has become one of those go-to spots for us in North Beach. Whether it’s a random weeknight when we don’t feel like cooking or a weekend dinner after walking by the water, it just always hits.
The food is consistently good. The tacos are packed with flavor, the fajitas come out sizzling and smell amazing, and the portions are generous without feeling over the top. It’s comforting, reliable, and exactly what you want when you’re craving Mexican food. And the margaritas? They’re strong in the best way and actually taste fresh.
What really keeps us coming back, though, is the vibe. It feels relaxed and welcoming, not pretentious, not rushed. The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable, like they’re genuinely happy you’re there.
It’s one of those local spots that just feels easy. Good food, good drinks, good people. We’re really glad it’s in North Beach.“

“Dream Weaver Restaurant is a cool spot for a cozy, flavorful breakfast.
My omelette was yummy. I ordered it with no cheese but plenty of fresh veggies, and they nailed it. The side of home fries with peppers and onions was equally yummy, perfectly cooked and seasoned.
While the space is a bit small, it feels very cool and intimate. The nice art on the walls and the great selection of music really make the atmosphere enjoyable. I recommend this spot for a yummy morning meal.“

“I hadn’t been at IHOP in forever I forgot how delicious their food is!! We will be going more often! But I just had to come on here to compliment our waitress Beth! My daughter just adored her! She gave her these little Valentine’s Day toys and when I asked if it was a special the restaurant was running she said she actually buys little toys and such herself just to give to her kiddo guests to play with while they wait on their food! And I just thought that was so kind, great with kids❤️ But she also gave us great service and hospitality all around! Thank you Miss Beth! 😊 Compliments to the Chefs as well!!! Food was 10/10!!!“

“I did not expect such delicious, high-quality food and awesome wait staff. But they did not fail to impress on any dish. I only wish I had given them a chance sooner. My dad loved their Thai hot it meet all his spice needed. My two year old ate a almost all of the 4 good portion satay skewers at the restaurant; they were well flavored and cooked well.“

“We had door dash. 2nd time in the last 10 days. 1st time perfect. Tonight, not so much. Ordered 10 wings with blue cheese, received 9 wings and ranch and the pizza was not as good as last week, slightly undercooked. Disappointed the order was wrong and the $$ spent. 🤷🏼♀️“

“First time trying this place on a whim. Pleasantly surprised by this place! Sally was out server and was quite attentive and considerate to myself dietary restrictions (vegan). The kitchen made a tofu hibachi type meal and it was very tasty. My boyfriend enjoyed his hibachi as well but noted that the sauce was very sweet. We would certainly visit again!“

“Came in Sunday, it was a chill vibe and inviting. Our waitress was very kind and patient with my father in law. He has Parkinson’s and takes some time for him to order. She never rushed me and talked him through all the beers, as well as another employee, thank you! My chicken soup was cold, things happen. Nothing that a microwave can’t fix when I get home ya know. She packed up a fresh bowl for me and it was the perfect snack for when I got home. Thank you again for your kindness and patience!!“

“Great place for good food at a decent price. The inside does have tables, but only 6 and and the very cafe feel. Nothing like a regular restaurant. The food however, very fast, a lot of it and was very good. We had large shrimp and broccoli with white rice, and small sweat sour chicken with white rice. Can and bottle drinks. Total was $30.

“Beautiful last day of February to spend some time at Abner's. Food was delicious, my server was pleasant and attentive. Great place to enjoy some seafood!
For those who play the slots, I didn't know they have added a gaming room on the 2nd floor. There are more machines, a bar and restrooms on that level. The cashier is now on the second floor.“

“We got an appetizer sampler and nachos to share. And I got the $5 drink special and it was really good. When we got our aperizer sampler unfortunately the wings and mozzarella sticks were cold. We told our server and she had it remade and the manager brought it out quickly and apologized. No big deal things happen. When it came back out and it was hot it was really good though!“
