“Just had an excellent dinner at China Garden. Ambiance, service, and food was 5 star. Started with complementary special pickles served with wonton, sweet and sour souse and hot mustard. Wonton soup was full of pork wonton and tasty. We ordered Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, and Sweet and sour pork both or which were VERY generous portions and delicious. Took home enough for another complete dinner. Definitely looking forward to returning and working our way through the menu“

“I just finished reading VERA WONG'S UNSOLICITED ADVICE FOR MURDERERS, and all the food Vera makes had me Googling the best place for Chinese Buns, since I've never had any before and the food in the book made me so hungry! There aren't any places near me, so we drove 40 minutes out to Frederick to eat at THE UGLY DUMPLING, and it did not disappoint! The food was AMAZING! I got the UD Bun sampler to try all the different buns Vera makes in the novel, and my kids wanted the Chicken Stir Fry Noodles. My husband ordered Orange Chicken and Fried Rice with Chicken, and we also ordered some Spring Rolls. When I tell you it was more food than I expected, I mean our table was overflowing! I tried the Taro, Mushroom, BBQ, Custard, and Scallion Buns, and Scallion and Custard were my favorite--my 2 year old loved them, too! So soft, like a pillow, and delicious! We brought home enough food to eat again tomorrow, and I'm so excited for it! This was an amazing dining experience, and we're already planning our next excursion back! Highly recommend!“

I have gone here a few times and its always been delicious food, but especially today (Christmas Eve) I want to give a thanks to them because although the wait time was very long because they were over flooded with orders, it was absolutely worth the wait. I expected that maybe with being so busy, they might forget an item or maybe the food wouldn't taste as good as it usually does but neither of those things happened. The food was really delicious and the staff is very kind and patient. They are my favorite place to get Chinese food and everyone should give them a try. We got the General Tso chicken, Szechuan Beef, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Fried Wontons and Shrimp Mei Fun. All of it was perfect. “Our family of 7 stopped there on our way home from Abingdon, MD. They were so sweet! They set up a table for us, brought us everything and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. I had barbecue boneless ribs and they’re the best I’ve ever had. They helped us throughout our meal. Highly recommend.“

“I think the food here was exceptional, and it was made in a very timely fashion. The only thing preventing me from giving this place a 5 for food is that the food was a little spicier than expected. I got the General Tso's, which was very good, but way spicier than I have gotten in other places. I really liked it, but just be aware that when they say something is spicy, they mean it and it is actually spicy. That said, I will recommend this place to others.“

“A lovely little place you can stop by and get fresh food made fast. I got the teriyaki chicken, white rice, and veggies for a healthy lunch! You can get fried rice or noodles as other sides, but I found my combo to be a pretty healthy choice.

“When my family moved to this area over 15 years ago, this place was recommended to us. Still, after all this time, this is the only Chinese place in the area that I will order from, after sampling many in the area (Frederick/MoCo). They have the best hot and sour soup in the area. Actually flavorful. The cream cheese wontons are different, not as crispy as you would expect, but the flavor is great. veggies are always fresh and crunchy, never overcooked. Both the more traditional dishes and the Americanized dishes have great flavors. Food is always ready fast.“

Soy Garlic chicken: my favorite flavor… really savory and addictive and easy to eat since the sauce covering isn’t too thick or heavy
Spicy Soy Garlic chicken: It’s actually really spicy for my tastes so if you like korean style intense spiciness you’ll like this“

“I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Asian Bistro! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly.
