“I don't expect much of anything from truck stops this close to a chocolate city, but this is a clear exception. Thr food was great and was served quickly, my waitress was polite and attentive.The Country Pride and TA seem to be well managed. Everything seems to be kept clean and in working order. Lot has plenty of parking and is well lit. I know some of you will complain about having to spend money to park here, but if parking was free, there'd be broken down trucks and dropped trailers everywhere. You'd never be able to find a spot.A safe, convenient place to park, a good meal, and a hot shower. What more can you ask for?4.5 stars. I'm rounding up to 5 for a great overall experience in a location where you certainly would not expect it.“

“This is a nice suburban restaurant near The Mall in Columbia, Maryland. The service is attentive, and the restaurant itself is comfortable. This food doesn't push the culinary envelope, but it is flavorful and nicely served.We had the French Tease cocktail, a riff on the French 75, which they altered at my request to be less sweet.I had two small plates as my dinner. The crab cake sundae was a bowl of Maryland tomato- based crab soup, which had a ladle of cream of crab soup in the middle, and in that was a crab cake and a crab claw. It was an interesting dish, and all was perfectly fine. The waitress did not think that was enough for dinner, so I had the fried oysters with bacon and onion dressing with a surprisingly spicy black hot sauce. The oysters were small and a bit greasy, but tasty. We shared the grilled asparagus with burrata and hazelnut gremolata. It was pretty good, but the asparagus ends were woody.My companion had the scallops served with roasted mushrooms and an onion risotto, topped with a bacon soubise sauce and crispy leeks. It was tasty, but it is a very heavy preparation for scallops. I think they were a bit lost in all the rest of the food on the plate.We ended with a very nice and creamy key lime pie.So in summary, the serving sizes are quite large. The food is fine. The service is attentive. There was nothing that would particularly make me want to return, but if someone else wanted to eat there, it would also be okay.“

The event coordinator, Andrew (and let's not forget Mark who also stepped in on the day of the event to support our party) was very responsive and reassuring throughout the planning and execution process. The servers Darnell, Aniya and Rose were extremely attentive, anticipated our needs and ensured that everyone was taken care of. My husband enjoyed his omelette and I fully enjoyed my French Eggs Benedict! It was seasoned perfectly and I liked the French bread twist instead of an English muffin. The staff were friendly and our food came out quick. The decor is a bit dated but it gave it character. The pictures on the walls were fun to look at while we waited for our food. After that I was passed down the line to a man who I would believe to be the manager? He joked around with us being elevator guys! Made everyone laugh, turned out he was a great guy cause some kids walked in after and he showed them a magic trick! As I walked up to get the food another guy informed me if we needed anything from the back that he's our guy, and if we needed anything from the floor, that someone else would help us immediately! The guy patrolling the floor was adamant on keeping us happy and full. Nice conversation, but not to much to make it bothersome. I told the guy I was with I'm gonna leave a review and that I usually don't take the time to, but this time I had too. Love the energy here and the people who helped serve us!“

“I blindly put the orange sauce all over my taco papusas and now my mouth is screaming.I came here craving tamales and also ordered the steak taco papusas.The tamales were alright. But I was looking for more of a SoCal Mexican tamale and these were not it. They're small sweet corn tamales with Salvadoran sour cream on the side and they do make for a good appetizer. But definitely not a savory meal and that's okay.The taco papusas were molten hot and delicious. I'm stuffed. The first one I had I poured the green salsa and lime over, but I couldn't pick it up, so I dug in with a fork. It was great.The second one however... Without tasting the orange sauce, I dumped it all over and took a bite. It's not an intense flavor, but boy oh boy does it burn. I almost wasted my horchata trying to cool my mouth off to eat. 10/10 would burn again.The cashier definitely didn't speak English well. And I don't speak Spanish well. Possibly in the future, I'll order online to make it less confusing for everyone involved. Regardless we managed to get my order in which was clearly displayed on the screen. It worked out. It did not help that I kept changing my mind on items halfway through.I'm definitely ordering from here again when I'm done feeling like a stuffed balloon.“

“Went back to the Trolley Stop for the first time in over ten years and had a good time and meal. Wife and I split a Caesar salad and French Onion Soup as course #1, the Caesar salad with blackened chicken was delicious, like really really great, the way they dressed it was just perfect and the chicken was not "too blackened" just right. The French onion soup was very good, tasty and cheesy but not too cheesy, just right. For our entrees, my wife and I split a mushroom, bacon, swiss burger and the French Dip. The French dip was probably the lowest point of the night, you had to pay extra to get it with cheese and fried onions (that put the sandwich up close to $20) and it just wasn't that great, not bad, but nothing special, just a big pile of roast beef that needed a dip in the au jus to taste good. The Swiss Bacon burger was delicious, cooked perfectly to medium (so many places overcook when you ask for medium, this had a perfect pink center), very tasty bacon, just very good. Our trip was probably 4.5 stars, we will come back!“

Our bartender tended to us quickly and got our drink orders promptly. I ordered off the regular menu as opposed to the happy hour menu. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Penne Pasta. The surroundings were neat and there were ample parking lot. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful. They do sell snacks. A special occasion gave me the chance to visit and to explore what do they offer. You can book a reservation. Stairs and elevator are available but I prefer using my legs. You can't miss it. It's within the city, and businesses are all around. I didn't order any food from there, so I don't know how their food taste, but what I can say is that the occasion I was invited to, the food was great. The food is more traditional based on the event. But overall, the staff were excellent and they did their very best to get everyone situated and to feel at home. ?Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids are always welcome with a parent or with a guardian.Parking: Parking was free.
