“Haven’t been in a while, years to be quite honest. The food was good! The restaurant was clean! The booth seat was not comfortable and unfortunately needs redone. The service was ok. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if their waitresses are unhappy. This is what kept me from coming back for years. Then at the end we asked for “to go” containers for our left over soup that we just couldn’t eat all of. The waitress said “we usually charge for those containers but I won’t charge you all today”. I was shocked. Who charges for to go containers for your leftovers (that you pay for)? This is weird. And I’m hoping that the owner sees this review and makes changes. If you want the consumer to pay for “to go” containers then add that into the cost of your food and keep it hush hush. We don’t want to know every little fee nor should we have to pay for a “to go” container. That is absurd. Again, food was good. Even the lady at the register seemed irritable. I get it. Some days I don’t want to work either. I hope they have better days. We will come back because it is a pretty drive and good food! Please don’t charge for to go containers.”

“We had an absolutely amazing experience on Homecoming Saturday! The entire Potomac Ridge team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly despite the busy crowd. The kitchen was impressive—getting fresh, delicious food out in less than 10 minutes with smiles all around. I complimented someone from the kitchen, smiling they proudly responded, ‘thank you, breaking records!’ I loved that! As the sun set, the fire pits were lit, and an employee started selling s’mores kits, personally chatting with each group at the fire pits. The heaters under the pavilion were a cozy touch. It all wrapped up with a friendly send-off from the door holder! Such a delightful experience.”

“This is a lovely little cafe in Hagerstown. I've been twice now and I love their Biscoff croffles the most, but the chocolate one is a close second! Their drinks are also delicious 😋 I loved the chai (and I'm picky about chai). They have cookies, brownies, pastries, cakes in jars, and bags of loose leaf tea (which are themed based on Korean dramas--super clever and fun). They also have vegan and vegetarian options available. There is seating inside or customers can take their treats to go. I can't wait to go back! ☺️”

“I use to think the ice cream in my hometown over in Massachusetts was the best, until I tried the Ice Cream at Rock Hill.. now, hands down.. Rock Hill is my new favorite Ice Cream shop. The best part besides the ice cream is the people, this shop is run by an amazing young woman who loves what she does. This shows through the quality of her product. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who is in the area, you won’t regret it.”

“Our first time at this restaurant and our server was absolutely outstanding . Her name is Cassandra and she was very welcoming with our 4.5 year old son. Normally we get looks and comments when we go out about him being loud or theatrical but she was SO understanding and supporting . She got him icecream cake and made sure he had such an accepting experience. As parents it melted our heart and we would 10/10 recommend this restaurant as well as her service. Come see her Friday nights for an amazing experience .”

The coffee? Let’s just say… it had me planning my next visit before I even finished my drink.

“I really enjoy River Bottom Roasters coffee, it's delicious and low acidity, and goes well with things like honey, tumeric, and cinnamon. I had a lovely time at the store itself. Their brand of oatmilk that they used was so rich I couldn't taste anything but the oatmilk. But the ATCB was refreshing and smooth. Warning, if you have a sensory sensitivity, the store IS a roastery and is very loud and echoing. Bring headphones.

“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable”

Parking: You park along the street so it is paid parking.

Kid-friendliness: We take our kiddos in they don't seem to mind plus my oldest she got jolly ranchers from the one bartender.
