“I had the pleasure of visiting Minya’s, and it was fantastic! The pizza was absolutely delicious – the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh, and the cheese melted just right. Whether you’re a fan of classic pizza or looking for something more creative, they have a wide variety of options to choose from. My favorite is definitely the Derho pizza, love the Eritrean fusion of it all!

The service was fast and friendly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a night out with friends.

Highly recommend Minya’s if you’re craving some of the best pizza in town! I’ll definitely be coming back.

The thin crust was delicious especially on the cheese pizza. The only negative thing I have too say is y’all charging too much for a house salad. “Flame & Cones provided pizza and dessert for our Yacht Club party. They showed up at the marina in plenty of time to get set up to deliver their goods. While they were at our request, they had sufficient food for other marina slip holders. The pizza selections were varied and most enjoyable. “Hot take — More restaurants need to be deaf-owned. I can't stand going to a restaurant and having to scream at the person next to me to have a conversation. Surprisingly, there was still music, but they're not blasting it.

The pizza and wine were delicious and paired great with each other! You're not going there for the finest of either, but they're also not cutting corners. We ordered a second margherita pizza immediately after ordering the first one.

Our server was Esmerelda and she was patient with my slow caveman-quality ASL. I was able to mention that it was my friend's birthday and with an ID confirmation, the staff got together and signed "happy birthday," which was a nice and sweet surprise!

I would totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a light meal without breaking the bank. No need to be intimidated by the language barrier either. “Our sister Debbie passed away unexpectedly. Debbie was a very casual person. She didn't want a funeral. So we had a graveside service. I got permission from the church to have Timber Pizza come to the cemetery because my sister would have gotten a big kick out of that. The pizza was great, the service was wonderful, the two gentlemen were very friendly. When I told Kevin that sausage gravy and biscuits was my sister's favorite food, they brought it and cooked the biscuits in the wood fired oven. It was incredible, and so compassionate. “I've had the Addis Ababa pizza and the egg and veggie breakfast sandwich, and both are really really delicious! If you're just visiting the area and aren't sure if you'll come more than once, you absolutely have to get one of the Ethiopian pizzas, you're not getting that combination of flavors maybe anywhere else. The price of the Ethiopian pizzas is fair because of the amount of toppings that go on them and how filling they are. Even on an empty stomach I get stuffed from three slices of the Addis Ababa and have to save the rest for later. The service has also been very friendly every time I've been, just a great family-run small business!“

“Buy the slice and pizzeria and it's really good. It was recently rated by an Italian website to be the number two by the slice pizzeria in the USA. It's not listed on top 50 of by the pie though. Also, very minimal seating, so it's more like a takeout place. I'm not sure how representative the Detroit square slice is because I've never had that before but the plain slice is really good and I tried their barbecue collaboration with a local barbecue restaurant, Federalist pig...Which is also good.“

“First and foremost, be prepared to spend money if you come here. My bill was nearly $90 for just me. But, I had the best fried pickles I've ever had, a delicious chicken cordon blue grilled cheese sandwich, and many different craft brews which were all fantastic. The fruit beer in my pic is one of the best beers I've ever had. I love the self-pour, self-order system, but it's just pricey. Still, the whole experience was 5 stars for me!“

It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. “I recently dined at Modena DC and had an overall positive experience. The food was generally good, though some dishes stood out more than others. The crispy artichokes were absolutely delicious—crispy and flavorful, definitely a highlight of the meal. The butternut squash pasta was just okay, lacking a bit of depth in flavor, but the pesto gnocchi was quite good, with a nice balance of creamy texture and vibrant pesto.

For dessert, the crème brûlée was fantastic—rich, creamy, and perfectly caramelized on top. It was definitely a great way to end the meal.

I travel to DC semi-regularly, and I've been to Bozzelli's for a chicken parm sandwich and lemon cake three times...should tell you something, considering the many other food options in the area.
