“There was a reason why I was anticipating to go to Dōgon... It was too good!
I was excited to finally snag a reservation for myself and my significant other. Reservations are highly recommended if you want to avoid a long wait. When we arrived for our reservation, we received a warm welcome and we were escorted to a lounge area as our table wasn't ready. The lounge was intimate, plus there was a cocktail menu. We were able to start off with drinks first. We were here for about 15-20 minutes before being seated.
Once we arrived to our table, our server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the entire menu in detail. We shared the cornbread, hoe crab and fried whitting sliders to start---chef's kiss. I then enjoyed the oxtail dish that came with a side of rice peas. This dish was so flavorful! Lastly, we finished off with the rum cake which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I loved my experience and can't wait to go back!“

“Staff was very pleasant and engagig. The curry chicken was delicious, not a heavy gravy and full of flavor, with just the right amount of spice. The Jerk Chicken was delicious as well. Everything was very fresh and hot!!!
Vegetarian options: Vegetables fresh, tender and balanced seasoning well.
Parking: Share lot, but plenty of parking.“

“I tried the curry wings and ?️GOOD LAWWWWWDY MY LEGS GOT WEAK‼️ That HOMEMADE sauce will introduce you to LOVE! If you haven’t, this place is definitely worth a try. This spot is like the song you skipped and later found out it was fire?. When you bite into the wings you get a bold boost of flavor that rhythms through your body. “Hello we just left D&G Bar and Grill after a wonderful Friday evening of karaoke, great food and drinks! We loved siting at the bar and supporting this local business! We walked into families eating and left with a grown & sexy crowd enjoying a Wizards game and singing karaoke! The food is plentiful and served in a Togo box, so get your mind right and ask for a paper plate. No washing dishes here! Drinks prices were great and Grace the bartender was getting it done with a smile, I ordered the jerk pork, husband jerk chicken. Not spicy but flavorful and tender. I can wait to taste more entrees! Ask for extra peppers if you like it hot!!! I thought the prices were ok, a business has to survive! Lunch prices are cheaper. We will return it was a fun spot with good food, especially on Friday night! Save a seat at the bar for us!!!“

“The food here was above and beyond what I expected. Not that I thought it wouldn’t be good. Just didn’t expect the explosion of flavors from each dish I tried. I had the doubles and goat rice platter. I’ve never had doubles and curried goat with so much spice and depth of flavor before. Highly recommend this restaurant. The curry is amazing. Will definitely be back. Service is a little slow but they are a new restaurant so they gotta work out the kinks. Again, highly recommend.“

“The sides were delicious, surprised that the cabbage is considered stir-fry vegetables. I was seeking vegetables but the cabbage, beans and rice, and mac & cheese was good.
Unfortunately the jerk meatloaf was not a hit, it was tough and bland (maybe a off day but I won't try it again to determine). The Salmon and jerk white meat was delicious.“

“I recently hire the Yaya’s food truck for a birthday event that I was having at my home. From the first inquiry, the customer service was excellent. Next, they also offer food tastings to ensure the flavor (salt, spice) is to your liking. The day of the event, they showed up before the scheduled time to ensure they meet the expectations of the contract. Additionally, I don’t order enough rice for my guest and they were generous enough to make more rice instead of telling my guest that no more rice was available. I definitely recommend Yaya’s Trini Food Truck.“

“Yooo!!! I had to leave a review and I didn’t finish the meal yet. I live down the street and I regret I haven’t came here sooner. Wow yall got the Mac n Cheese right, it was on point. jerk wings flavorful with kick rice and peas was perfection. Good portion for the price can’t lie, found my new Jamaican Spot and I’m grateful it’s minutes away. I don’t leave reviews but the meal was that good can’t wait to try the Curry. Bravo 👏🏿“

“Got some grub at the Eastern Market from their stand. They gave me a massive portion of goat meat and Jamaican jerk chicken, rice, and macaroni and cheese. Everything is delicious and they were so friendly! Standing out in the rain to serve people. Recommend!“

“Food is really good, one of the best African restaurants I been too, not too many African places can make good tasting food, this is my 2nd best place.... I went yesterday and had the Jolloff rice with goat meat, and my domestic partner also did too, goat pepper soup, pounded yam and egusi soup. “THIS PLACE IS THE ONE!! I come here often since its not far from my house, and OneLuv has some of the Best jamaican cuisine I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Soft fluffy coco bread and flavorful patties with the perfect flakiness. I recommend their brown stew and their curry chicken they’re absolutely phenomenal !!! If you’re someone who enjoys delicious, authentic jamaican food like I do, I highly recommend OneLuv Reggae!!“

“What a nice spot. I read the reviews and HAD to see if they were telling the truth… The Mac and Cheese was AH-mazing definitely NOT from a box! The Popeye smoothie was so good and refreshing. I also had a jerk chicken salad. Although just a salad it was still packed with delicious flavor. Jerk chicken patty was on point and super fresh. I will definitely be back for more!!!“
