I ordered the fish platter and a chicken platter with sweet potatoes..mac n cheese pptato salad and fries..and it was a very pleasant experience...the food was hot and fresh..very nicely seasoned...my family was quiet the whole time eating!! And they always have something to say!! Lol definitely will order again next week will have dessert too!! Great job thanks!!“

“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

“The owners were very nice. I had a discrepancy in that I didn’t know how many catfish came with the catfish dinner. The owners were so nice that they gave me extra because it was my first time and because it was a misunderstanding that I had of the menu. The customer service was superb. The sides were awesome. I got mac & cheese and yams. They were really good. Also, the fish was fried very well. Will definitely come again and recommend to friends. Also, they have really really good smelling oils by the way that they sell.“

Honestly, I would have rated everything 5/5 if it weren’t for the buttery taste in the chicken. I wish the chef offered an option to choose between oil or butter for the chicken marinade. The flavor was a bit too heavy for me and my husband. That said, I think it’s an acquired taste, so everyone should try it for themselves.“

“A group of Mall walkers went to the Soul Sista's restaurant on Aug. 29, 2024. We enjoy our visit every time we eat the delicious food prepared by the staff. This restaurant has some of the best food like fried pork chops, fried shrimps, catfish, whiting, crab cakes, mac and cheese, mix greens, fried, rice. I strongly recommend Soul Sista's in Brandywine.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. Very reasonable priced for quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend.“

“We ordered catering pans from here for 4th of July 2025. Everything was excellent. The turkey wings and gravy are so good. Yams, green beans macaroni and cheese were also delicious. I usually cook myself but needed a break this holiday. All of the food was seasoned well. Not salty just well seasoned and flavorful. Customer service was great and they were very accommodating with my large order. We will definitely frequent this business again.“

“My dinner here had more flair than I expected! Tasty fried chicken and huge perfect plaintains. The stir-fried cabbage could have been spicier but it was a clever recipe. Overall this chef is going places and I believe this restaurant can make it another 80 years. Our meals took some time so don't be in a rush. “I love the food at EllaRay’s Cafe. I go there every week. I usually call my order in and pick it up in 15 or 20 minutes. I prefer the vegetable platter and an extra side of beans. The portions are enough for two meals for me. I love breakfast there also. Glad I discovered them.“

A tough bag lady that was waiting for her order said I had to try the seafood Mac and cheese and she wasn’t wrong. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The good brother running the store also let me try a few other sides.
