“I got the vegan jerk chicken, yams and kale (greens) and I am so obsessed. The chicken is a wonderful texture including the breading which was perfectly crispy. The greens are addictive and I wish I had 10 more portions. The yams are good, a bit too sweet for me but not an issue at all. I will definitely be ordering from here a bunch more! “Silver Queen Cafe continues to be a local gem. After our original dinner plans fell through this past Saturday, we were able to snag a last-minute 7:45 PM reservation, and it turned out to be a fantastic evening.
​We’ve visited before and always appreciate the cozy atmosphere and their commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Even though they were sold out of a few popular items we had our hearts set on—the fried oyster tacos and the black bean burgers—the experience was still top-notch. Our server, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in guiding us toward new choices, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying the mushroom blue pizza and the seafood nachos.
​What really stood out was the level of service. Not only was Jamie attentive, but the bartender also made a point to come by our table to check on us, which was a great personal touch. It’s clear the staff here genuinely cares about the guest experience.
​Silver Queen Cafe is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot that deserves to be celebrated. We’re lucky to have them in the area and will definitely be back soon!“

“There are not enough stars in the sky to give this place. Talk about creating fantastic dishes they make such wonderful flavor combinations. They use fresh ingredients it’s very evident in the high quality of food that they provide. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the vibes are indescribable. My waiter was Jimmy today I ordered the Halibut after I asked what it was 😂😂😂. He told me it was delicious and one of his favorite fish. The man was spot on it was absolutely amazing how every was seasoned and grilled to beyond perfection. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Chesapeake it was an absolute hit.I don’t know which one was better but I’d love to have a serving of either one again anytime. Oysters were perfect this place has quickly become a huge place of interest. We both look forward to returning and I will suggest this amazing food to anyone. What great food and a great time.“

For a diner, it’s certainly higher end. Not pretentious but the food is very good.

Ordered the Cod which I loved. Flavor profile worked while being on the healthier side. Paired with their Pinot Noir and was lovely

The staff made planning everything from menu options to space for the celebration effortless. During the celebration, staff was attentive and made sure everything was as we wanted. “Great sushi and great Chinese also at reasonable prices! I've been getting sushi at Sakura for a while but tonight we also got General Tso's and it was really good and the portion was huge! I dont think Sakura gets the street cred in Annapolis that it deserves- Its a cozy spot with great food and great views of downtown! Now I can't wait for our leftovers tomorrow!“

“Used to be one of my favorite diners around, and I'm a diner sort of guy. But I went for breakfast yesterday, and came away disappointed. The pricing was high for an old school, non-fancy, non-retro diner. Many breakfast menu items that would come with other stuff at most diners were add-on options and not cheap. While there between 2-4 tables were occupied, but despite that the waitress brought the wrong type of toast (mistakes happen... no problem), and compounded that by not coming back to offer a top-off on coffee until I had stacked up my plates and was ready to go.

Was going to give a 3 stars, as I'd rate the three subjects above as 3.5, but opted to go with 4 based on nostalgic appreciation of better experiences at the diner.“

“I stopped coming here last summer, as the service was horrible and the food wasn't much better. Had a friend convince me to try again last week, and was very impressed. The restaurant is much cleaner, the staff actually seems happy, and the food and service is outstanding. I was told this place had made huge improvements recently, and I am happy to say that is definitely true, and I will be coming back several times a week again.“
