“We had the fried green tomatoes as our first appetizer. They were tender and topped with lumps of crabmeat. Spectacular! Then we had the fried cheese appetizer. I can’t remember the name of the cheese, but it was delicious in the accompanying sauce and olive oil and pesto. All of the dishes we had came out perfect. My filet medallions were so tender,they melted in my mouth. Hubby got the pork loin over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and loved it. We will definitely come back!“

“Tonight, I decided to give Glenwood's a try. I've seen it while supporting other restaurants in the same strip. The atmosphere was pleasant and had a chill vibe to it. I was greeted in a very professional manner and was seated immediately. My server, named Abby, was very pleasant and immediately took my drink order while allowing me to review the menu. Walter brought my drink to the table and explained the special items that weren't on the menu. He was just as pleasant and professional. I must say, I liked the fact that all the servers were dressed nicely in black and white, with neckties. As I observed, I noticed that they helped one another, which was impressive.

I decided to order the Chesapeake Style Crab Dip with bagette bread, Fire-Roasted Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and for dessert, Bread Pudding. I must admit everything was seasoned to perfection. The chicken was superb. I wasn't a fan of the Bread Pudding, though. It wasn't bad, but I've had better. It was a huge portion, but not worth $14. I recommend that you give them a try, and I look forward to returning.“

I was greeted as soon as I entered ( I can't imagine that happening when it's crowded, but it was only about 3 others there at the time). You can eat in as there is a lot if seating.I received my order very quickly. It was just a breakfast sandwich, but It was made as I requested and I had no complaints. In fact, I went two days later and got another breakfast sandwich and homefries. They do have daily specials as well. Give them a try. I will be going back.“

The food was delicious, our waitress Bree was great, the general manager, Kirk, was one of my uncles best friends, thank you for your kindness! “I love this place because of the great menu. I am lactose intolerant but eat meat. There are few places that allow you to customize items to cater both of things (generally, if places have this many alternative milk and cheeses, they are vegan - which can be great to be fair. Many places have no alternative milk for coffee). I only go during off hours though, their busy hours are too intense for me (but that’s unavoidable because they are so popular).

I have taken a star off service for the manager and owner, because they took away required tipping (this was implemented during covid) and then told me that since ppl complained about it, this was “more democratic” . It was a really stupid excuse that was worded to appeal to my (assumed) politics. I KNOW your staff isn’t getting paid enough, this decision is cruel. Red Emma’s can afford to include required tips with orders, why can’t you?“

“I visited the Rotunda Local Fry location. I ordered the local fries with the crab dip, no scallions, crispy fries and cheddar cheese. My order was just about $19. Within 6 minutes of receiving my order I notice the fries were not crispy to me but limp, (Not the fries with the crab dip on them) I'm talking about the fries that didn't have dip on them were limp. I asked for crispy fries. I asked for them to be made over and serve the dip separately in a box possibly. I was told by Corey Hawkins that he could not make them over or offer a refund unless the store personnel made a mistake, also no refund is not stated on the receipt nor is it posted in the store. He stated he is not allowed to do anything basically to satisfy the customer, no other manager was there for me to speak to. This to me is not fair to the customer because I was totally unsatisfied and wanted a remake (separately) or a refund. This is very upsetting that the customers are treated this way, his hands was tied and im left unhappy with $20 fries. This was like a 10 minute ordeal because I was trying to get my money back and had i known that you dont give refunds I would have never placed an order there at all, this needs to be made known to the consumer. This situation puts the manager and the customer in a very awkward position and something needs to be done for customers that are unhappy with their orders, or you will loose alot of customers once they go through something like this and especially because its not posted that you don't give refunds. Everything we had was superior to Andy Nelsons or Mission, and I will be back more than likely this week to try the rest of the menu and get more mac and cheese.
