“Love the food and drinks and the entertainment. HOWEVER- we were there for Cliff Cody and it was a very hot day. Sat under the sail shade and still it was terribly hot. The management could really boost its comfort level for customers by simply installing either a misting fan system or a few fans on stands around the patio. It was so hot we could hardly concentrate on the entertainment and even though we had planned on staying longer and eating and drinking more, we had to leave long before we had planned, simply because of the heat.”

“We were driving through town and stopped to see what this place was. I spoke to locals upon entering and they highly recommended some items and spoke highly of the establishment, products and staff. The Amazing staff proved to be super helpful and knowledgeable! We ended up buying lots of fresh seafood to take home to cook in addition to some of the recommended favorite items and we also had several items cooked to try before we continued our long drive. Everything was delicious! We will be driving through town again next week and already plan to stop again to get more. I highly recommend the Lighthouse!”

“I'm not the biggest fan of the dunkin in New Market, but I did take my girls for ice cream yesterday and we happened to get the nicest worker ever (I didn't get her name but she has red hair). She offered to get my girls a kids size ice cream in regular cups because they were out of the small cups. The manager came by and yelled at he, right infront of us, because the amount of ice cream was too much... the woman who served us was so nice to us, sweet to me girls, and made them super happy... how does a manager not care about giving great customer service and then make a big deal about the teaspoon of extra ice cream?! Anyway, if you do go there, look for the super ice lady with the gorgeous red hair!”

Andrea had the mushroom ravioli. That was an earthy, tasty treat pack with mushrooms. Love the cafe style. Will go back as often as we can.”

Herbs and spices and healthy oils create a potpourri of wonderful flavors and create a satisfying meal without the use of salt. Vegans now have a new choice for flavorful meals.”

“We used to frequent this restaurant often when we lived in Frederick. We returned for my 70th birthday dinner. As usual, Rich did an outstanding job, not only with our meals but also with meals designed for our vegan/vegetarian children. Trish, our server , was also excellent.
