“The soft serve at Shadyside Soft Serve Ice Cream is the creamiest I've ever had in recent memory. Cute little shop in a tiny little 'strip mall' that has lots of parking. Don't blink though when you are driving or you may miss it. It sits up a driveway to the back area of a property. Look for the ice cream flags by the driveway entrance and exit and the neon sign on the building. The staff is so very pleasant and eager to serve you. There is a really extensive selection of sweet & cold treats in cones or cups. Lots of traditional and very colorful toppings, too. Great way to cool off when it's blistering hot outside. But there is no dine in, only some seating outside under a roofed area.“

“I follow Rita’s on Facebook, they posted asking which flavors we’d like to see before they close for the season, so I requested my favorite and my dad’s favorite. When I saw that they posted having my requested flavors I freaked out and went right after work. When I got there they had just sold out of watermelon, but the AMAZING manager Kailani offered to make me a batch if I had 10 mins to spare, and she was happy to offer to do it for me!! She made not only my entire day, but my dads!! Thank you so much for making our day brighter, and we can’t wait to see you when you open back up!!“
