“Bethesda Bagels in Gaithersburg: Just as Good as the Original!

As a 35-year regular of the Bethesda location, I was thrilled to discover a Bethesda Bagels outpost in Gaithersburg! And let me tell you, it lives up to the original in every way.

The bagels are just as delicious, the online ordering is fast and efficient, and even when I missed the online cutoff during a busy holiday, the staff kept things moving smoothly for walk-in orders.

They nail all the classics, like bagels with lox and cream cheese, whitefish, but they also have a surprisingly good selection of lunch sandwiches, pizza bagels, and more.

If you're looking for a great bagel experience in Gaithersburg, look no further than Bethesda Bagels. Highly recommended!

“Bethesda bagels is great! But I cannot for the life of me understand why they close at 330PM? There are droves of high schoolers and other people who would love to grab a bagel after school/work but for some reason this place cuts off that option entirely!?“

We saw the great reviews for Sylvan cafe and decided to stop in.

“We’ve been regular customers since well before Neal’s moved to its current location. The bagels are delicious (more New Yorky and flavorful than others in the area) and always fresh. The sliced turkey breast, Nova, and chicken salad are some of our favorites. Lots of other tasty menu items too. Highly recommend!“

“Got the pizza bagel - very good! It was warm and satisfying and I got good cheese pulls. I would hope it was a bit more saucy, but that is just my preference. You can get many different items there from bagels to mini bagels, to a beverage such as lemonade or coffee.“
