“We splurged and did the full 12 course tasting experience with the chef's cellar wine pairing and it did not disappoint! When you spend that much you want to be blown away and Mita delivered with one of the best meals of our lives! No exaggeration. There wasn't a wrong note the entire evening, and it was a 3 hour experience. I've been to several high end and Michelin starred places over the years and there were multiple times at Mita, with both food and wine, I thought "I've never tasted anything like that before." Save up and go!“

We ordered the tapas tour, which was a whirlwind of delicious and inventive small plates. Some of our favorites were the fried calamari, the Spanish sausage, the bacon-wrapped blue cheese-stuffed dates, and the spicy olive oil marinated shrimp. Incredible!! For dessert, we couldn't resist a small cheese plate and the tropical-flavored dessert. We also got some mango sorbet to top it all off. The only comment I'd make about the tapas tour experience is that I wished the tapas came out at a more paced speed, so that we could savor each dish more individually. “DMV Empanadas had a pop-up shop at the Navy Yard Farmers Market. This was my first time trying them. And OMG!!! They were so good. So tasty. Not a lot salt. “We were a little hesitant because of how small the store front was but it ended up being absolutely delightful! We had the empanadas as an appetizer, they were delicious. The bread was such a great consistency, better than the best cornbread. I had the carne asada, and it was so fresh and delicious. All of the food was very authentic! I even tried a new drink, not alcoholic, it was like a tea that was cold but somewhat spicy. It was delicious !! We will definitely be going back for another round ;-) Service was very quick and polite as well.“

“Absolutely incredible every single time. Crisp & Juicy lives up to its name — the rotisserie chicken is perfectly seasoned, fall-off-the-bone tender, and packed with flavor. The skin is crispy in all the right ways, and the meat stays juicy no matter what you order.

The sides are just as good — especially the yuca fries and plantains. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. I also have to shout out the green sauce — dangerously good and goes with literally everything on the menu.

He took his time teaching and answering questions, provided more than enough supplies, and did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful experience.We started with a cocktail and fresh focaccia bread. The marinara sauce with the bread and some other dishes was the tastiest sauce I’ve ever had. There was a self serve station for water and wine throughout the class. We made a fried risotto appetizer, pizza, spinach and cheese ravioli, and gnocchi. The owner and his staff gave one-on-one instruction when needed, and were very nice and helpful.We gave the staff everything we had prepared to be cooked in the kitchen. Our dishes were returned hot and ready for a delicious meal. There was so much food we were provided with to go containers and had it for several meals afterwards.
