“Many people have described this place as the best pizza in DC. While it is good and definitely has that classic NYC style, it was not five star pizza. I got the Classic Pepperoni signature pizza with burrata and hot honey - very tasty.

I got it for takeout which may have also contributed to quality of the pie. A really nice touch was that they put the buratta and hot honey on the side, which kept the pizza crispier while I brought it home.

I hope to try a fresh slice at the restaurant someday soon. They have lots of selection between their own creations and the classics. If you are in DC and craving pizza, give them a try!

“Located in on the 3rd floor of Tysons Galleria near other food court restaurants, Andy’s is a great choice for toasty pizza with tasty toppings!

Their pizzas have such fluffy and crunchy crust. I recommend the pepper and sausage pie. It’s also great they have hot honey as a “fancy” option for their pizzas! Their shaken lemonade was served in a large tub and extremely sweet, but balanced out really with the savory pizza.

A few complaints: If you are ordering a full pizza rather than a couple slices, I recommend ordering ahead of time rather than at the counter because I had to wait 20 mins the last two times. They also need to remove the Sicilian pies off the menu because they never have those available. The servers also have a bit of sass when dealing with customers. Even when a full pie of what I ordered was ready first, they replenished the individual slices first before my order.

Overall the pizza is great and while I have a few qualms with the service, I’ll still be back to grab quick slices.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Minya’s, and it was fantastic! The pizza was absolutely delicious – the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh, and the cheese melted just right. Whether you’re a fan of classic pizza or looking for something more creative, they have a wide variety of options to choose from. My favorite is definitely the Derho pizza, love the Eritrean fusion of it all!

The service was fast and friendly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a night out with friends.

Highly recommend Minya’s if you’re craving some of the best pizza in town! I’ll definitely be coming back.

For some reason today I got no idea if y'all prayed to the pizza god for a new recipe or something, but that margarita pizza can rival most of NY slices I had. I am actually still lost for words cause I can't describe why was it that good?? ??‍♂️ Crunchy, some flake, sauce was clearly made in house by crushed tomatoes, has sweetness, good char to the crust. The cheese was good. I have no idea what y'all figured out but good freaking job“

“This spot was incredible. Great artisan pizzas with creative pairings & cooked to perfection. The Harambe loved Big Macs and Macha Roni were both SO good. My favorite between the two was the Harambe- which had an fantastic dressing. It truly was a star.

“I saw a brochure of the restaurant on my door when I came home and decided to try the restaurant. I ordered a salad and a pizza. The pizza was amazing but the service was exceptional. Mh uber driver stole my bowl of salad and blamed the restaurant for it. When I called the manager reassured everything was given to him and went above and beyond to prove it by sending me a picture of him personally handing the food to the guy.. “I've had the Addis Ababa pizza and the egg and veggie breakfast sandwich, and both are really really delicious! If you're just visiting the area and aren't sure if you'll come more than once, you absolutely have to get one of the Ethiopian pizzas, you're not getting that combination of flavors maybe anywhere else. The price of the Ethiopian pizzas is fair because of the amount of toppings that go on them and how filling they are. Even on an empty stomach I get stuffed from three slices of the Addis Ababa and have to save the rest for later. The service has also been very friendly every time I've been, just a great family-run small business!“

Also, very minimal seating, so it's more like a takeout place. I'm not sure how representative the Detroit square slice is because I've never had that before but the plain slice is really good and I tried their barbecue collaboration with a local barbecue restaurant, Federalist pig...Which is also good.“

“I'm a regular at Angelo's almost every Tuesday during the fall middle school and spring high school softball seasons. I stop there between the game I umpire and teaching religious education around the corner at St. Patrick's. I will say that the quality at Angelo's is outstanding. I usually do a combination cheeseburger sub or steak and cheese. They are excellent. Plus, the fries are real fries that come out of the deep frier nice and crispy. I often will treat my religious education class to pizzas from Angelo's and they always tell me it's good pizza. Finally, they have Little Gina's pizzels. They're an Italian cookie my Italian mom would make and they are exactly like she would cook them. So, if you want some great pizza or sub plus some really crispy fries, I highly recommend Angelo's. Maybe I'll see you there some Tuesday!“

“I was visiting the DC area and wanted pizza, so I decided to try Matchbox. I love a meaty pizza, so I ordered The Pig, which was loaded with pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, and bacon, and it was super cheesy! Most of the toppings were underneath the cheese. I chose a 10-inch pizza, which was a good size if you have a big appetite or want to share with a friend. The service was excellent; my waiter was very attentive. The space was clean, relaxed, and private enough for each party to enjoy their own area.“

“Wanted pizza late night and this place happened to be on my way home. I walk in and at first was confused because I didn’t see any pizza. I was hoping to grab a slice real quick and be on my way but it looked like I was going to have to order a personal pie. Then the owner asked me if I wanted slices and I said I did but still didn’t see any prepared. So what’s unique about this place is they do custom slices which I have never seen before. The slices were huge. Probably about 50% larger then a normal slice.“

“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“
