“Delicious Breakfast and Wonderful Hospitality! My family and I were in Ocean City helping a relative move back to Wisconsin, and we stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Oceanview Resort. My daughter and I decided to try a breakfast spot on the Ocean City Boardwalk and found Crepe Daddy — and we’re so glad we did! The food and service were both amazing, but what really made the experience special was meeting Ben, the owner. His kindness, genuine personality, and personal touch made us feel so welcome. We had a great conversation with him that truly made our trip memorable. We can’t wait to come back with the rest of our family so they can meet Ben and enjoy his delicious breakfast menu and lattes. “Rise Up is an antidote to the corporate BS that plagues Ocean City. The location is a pain to get to, especially if you're going east on 50, and the parking lot is not at all sufficient for the high volume of peak hours. The coffee is good - miles better than Starbucks - the staff is friendly, and they will grind their coffee for you free of charge, which is nice. That said, as Rise Up has grown over the years, it's lost some of its charm and local vibe. It also gets so mobbed on weekends and late mornings (9-11) that I'd rather not drink coffee than wait up to 30 min for a drink. But if it's a Tuesday afternoon and I'm headed back from Assateague and in need of a coffee, I'll stop every time.“

“My husband and I had a great breakfast experience, just a few minutes ago!! Great food - not a bunch of hoity-toity “foodie” fare - just simple dishes, sides, and combos that are prepared perfectly. Sahara Cafe is, now, on our “must visit” list! Staff is very friendly and super efficient. The cafe is homey and traditional, reminiscent of restaurants from my youth - that great diner feeling. Let’s talk about that giant cup o’ Joe… delicious, hot, and the size of a “FRIENDS” cup!! What?! Not having to wait for multiple refills?! That’s right. “We happened upon this place while checking out reviews of breakfast spots. We've been by there numerous times during the OC cruises, but never tried it. We really enjoyed our breakfast there Sunday morning! I had the "goin' bananas french toast" (really good, and lots of it) and my wife had the "avocado toast", which she loved. Met the owner and had a nice chat. Good food and made fresh. Will definitely return next cruise we attend. Highly recommend.“

“Food was as expected and they do well with the VERY little space they have. Cashiers fast and friendly. Biggest issue was food prep person (who looked to be the manager/supervisor) was not making food FIFO. Several orders placed after ours were fulfilled first. While there is some multi-tasking possible while bagels toast and such, it shouldn’t be that noticeable a delay. Order status board like the one pictured would be a relative cheap tech upgrade. More shade outside and misting machine would help families to wait outside instead of everybody crammed into the small lobby.“

“It is the cutest storybook A-frame cottage that houses the Dunkin’ Donuts on 67th Street. Parking & easy access out front at the Town Center. Absolutely spot-on service! “It's the only place open at 6 AM. So I stop here while my wife continues her walk along coastal highway. It's a typical DD, so you will get whatever you get at home. The lobby is small and it's roped off to keep everyone social distanced. There are no outdoor sitting area, so plan to take whatever you buy with you. There's also no drive thru since it's in the middle section of a strip mall. I go here regularly and have never ran into an issue.“

“We just had coffee, so can't vouch for the food. Smallish place. Service can be slow as there is only one person taking orders, both from drive thru and inside. But they have kiosks to place an order which is more effective. Coffee and Latte were pretty good, and at the right temperature.“
