“I loved the vegan ramen, menu is full of other vegan options as well. The chef and staff are very helpful and can modify dishes to make it vegan. We got fortune cookies at the end as well but they said they weren't sure if those were vegan. The ramen came in a huge bowl with loads of vegetables and fried tofu, highly recommended!!“

“Amazing sushi! I've tried Kusshi, kura Sushi, and Uzu Sushi in the Rockville area and was not impressed with their quality at all. However, Sushi Toro is always consistent with their quality especially for their price. The sushi tastes amazing and fresh, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a casual dinner with friends. Easily the best sushi I've had in Rockville. Highly recommend!“

“I had been waiting 3 years ever since the sign went up saying this was coming to my area. Finally for my birthday I got the chance to go and it was not a let down. The front of house staff was very friendly and seated my party immediately. The waitress took no time at all to get our drinks and come back with them and take our complete order. We put everything in at the same time and they did an excellent job of pacing the salads, appetizers, and main meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and gorgeous to look at. I will be returning so we can sit for a hibachi show! The only thing is I slyly mentioned it was my birthday hoping to get a song, but that did not happen lol.“

“I am a regular at Nagoya Sushi. The owner and staff are very good. The food is always fresh and delicious. I specially like the eel with rice and Tempura. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The prices are reasonable and service is always exceptional.“

We recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt to find a go-to sushi spot. I think we found it! Portions were great, price was fair, and it felt great supporting a local business over all the chains around Rockville and Bethesda. A couple chefs and one super friendly woman serving the food.
This isn’t the place you go to for a full on dining experience with fancy/expensive cocktails. Because the majority of their business is takeout, everything was served out of to-go containers. As long as you don’t have issues with this, as we didn’t, you’ll enjoy it.

“Always a great time at Kura! Always bring my daughter, she loves the Robot helping with drinks! I'm not some sushi connoisseur but I like it and I've never gotten sick eating it. They always have specials and keep sending me $5 n $10 coupons for future visits! So I'll keep coming back.

“This is my favorite sushi place in DMV area. The owner is professional: the size of nigiri sushi with balanced rice and raw fish ratio, and provide pre-order plater wit the perfect condition without making them in advance so that they do not stored in fridge which is great.
Below is $100 plater with Sashimi, Nigiri, and rolls.“

“I’ve been going to Moby Dick since 2006 and never a single disappointment. My boss lived in Japan for five years and wouldn’t dare lower himself to sushi in Wheaton. When he finally went with me - well, best sushi he’d ever had outside of the far east. From the basic to the high end roll, you’ll never be disappointed. I live in Bethesda now and nothing here comes close!“

“This is an underrated restaurant, and I'm surprised it's not always packed! The seafood is incredibly fresh, with tender and succulent texture, and both the cooking methods and seasoning are spot on. Every dish is delicious, highly recommended!“

“The hibachi shrimp bento box was really good. Everything was nicely seasoned. The dumplings and spring rolls were fried but not greasy. The California roll was good too. The quality of their sticky rice for the hibachi was great and they give you a lot. Service was quick and it’s made fresh to order. They ask you if you want teriyaki sauce on top of the hibachi before serving it. All plates come with a side of yum yum sauce. Quiet atmosphere, not the best plaza or neighborhood but it’s always busy and looks like they sell a lot. Will be back.“

“This is the ONLY place I go for when I am craving a good ramen with soup ! You can never go wrong with their chicken katsu or spicy bulgogi steak with their Tori shoyu soup base!! Super delicious and flavorful ! Other ramen shops don’t have this type of flavor in their broth but Maki does ! Added bonus if you get their dango for dessert ! Super yummy and chewy 10/10 for me !“
