“I just ate what was probably well over my 100th pit beef sandwich from Jake’s Grill in my lifetime. I am blown away by how tender the beef is each and every time.
Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.
And don’t forget the ribs which sell out every day.“

“Cash Only! NO credit cards! Pit Beef, Ham, Turkey and Fries. The place is a Shack, walk in order walk out. Like something you'd see at a Dirt Track. I'd say the food is worth the trip if you're near and want good meat and fries.“

“First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“Outdoor seating only and there's no bathroom but the bbq sauce is insane. I generally don't like bbq sauce but I was literally dipping my fries in it. Ribs are great, chicken was a little dry, great fries. The cucumber and tomato salad could have been fresher but no one is there for the salads“

“Huge fan of Bare Bones! I love being able to enjoy/support a locally-owned restaurant that consistently delivers on flavor AND service. Some of my favorites include the butter beans (absolutely delicious - give them a try), the corn fritters, and the BBQ chicken! My husband loves the bone-in ribeye pork chop and the French onion soup. The restaurant also has an awesome private room with a TV, perfect to book for larger parties! We just celebrated my bestie's 40th in there and the staff was so accommodating (thank you so much, Zach!) Can't say enough about awesome newer ownership with Sunny, too - perfect blend of interior upgrades/menu refreshes while still delivering on the classics!“

“Our family and a friends family meet at Kpot 2/3 times a month for dinner. The service is always great and the tablet makes ordering super convenient! We celebrated our daughter’s 10th birthday tonight and she really enjoyed the cheesecake (her bday dinner was also free which we didn’t know and thought was very nice)!“

“I enjoyed Lady O Kitchen brunch today! The grits were soo creamy. The sweet chili & brown sugar chicken had just enough sweetness & hint of spice! The Hawaiian roll Frenchtoast was soo scrumptious right off the stove! The punch was soo fruity & refreshing! Lady Olivia served with excellence!“
“I ordered brunch from here over the weekend and got the shrimp & grits. My food was delicious and the portions were big! While I was there someone else was picking up their food and they ordered a cheesesteak that looked so damn good! I’ll definitely be back for that. I won’t lie it’s not the cheapest brunch/lunch option BUT it’s definitely worth it AND it’s BLACK OWNED!“

“This place is the best Korean in Maryland! I bought three different kinds of Korean spicy soups (Yuk-keh Jang, Goni Tang, and Al Tang) and rice including free sides for dinner today! The test is excellent and staffs are very friendly. I believe this place is the oldest Korean restaurant in this area and it's been there over 25 yrs. Hope they can keep the business for another +25 yrs for Marylanders.“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Mission-BBQ in Owings Mills. The food was great, the service was great and the dining room was emmaculate. This was my first time here. I tried to salmon, collards, and mac and cheese. Food quality was very good. I even had a really pleasant encounter with one of their employees, Tyon. Nice kid! I will be back! Thank you!“
