“First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“Our family and a friends family meet at Kpot 2/3 times a month for dinner. The service is always great and the tablet makes ordering super convenient! We celebrated our daughter’s 10th birthday tonight and she really enjoyed the cheesecake (her bday dinner was also free which we didn’t know and thought was very nice)!“

“We have enjoyed Mission BBQ over the years and we decided to have Mission cater our wedding. We were surprised with the extent of services they offered! Not only did they provide the BBQ with sides but we also got appetizers (Cocktail Shrimp and Caprese Skewers), cake cutting service, and excellent cleanup of the buffet area. We even got a card from the staff and a phone call thanking us for choosing them and wishing us well. “Very welcoming place. Unpretentious. Drinks were delish. Espresso martini! We love seeing people of varied cultures, just hanging and talking with each other. I was reluctant to get the ribs because I read a review saying they were dry. Mine were delicious. It wasn’t a saucy rib, and that’s how I like it. I’m sure you could ask for sauce. Husband had steak and rice. The staff is very accommodating. The onion rings were great. Wish I had some left! Plenty of TV’s to see a game in the bar area. There is also a dining room area away from the tv/bar area. Comparing this experience to a Navy Yard sports bar yesterday, we enjoyed today’s Bare Bones meal over yesterday’s DC sports bar hands down. Our server was great. Friendly, quick and respectful. It was like going to your friend’s house for a meal. We’ll be back…Definitely to watch some football this season. I’ll have to try something else next time to see if their other dishes fare as well.“

“I’ve dined in this location many, many times, it’s one of our favorites. I’ve had many different servers. But tonight we came with a party of 8 for the first time as a big group for my daughter’s birthday & we were served by London. I could tell she was very busy but she stayed with smile and positive attitude the entire time & everything was perfect. I didn’t have a chance to tell her in person that she did fantastic so hopefully she will get to see this. I know the rest of my family has no sense of urgency when ordering food but she stayed patient & kind the entire time. Shout out to London & every other fantastic server we’ve had at this location.“

I had a errand to run in this area and I drop by here for lunch. I had 3 drumsticks and fries. It was pretty good. Chicken was crispy. Fries is not really for me but it was still good.

I think I will get just the chicken to share but not sure as a entre. If I crave fried chicken in this area, i might come here.“

“We had an amazing dining experience recently when 3 of us decided to eat at a restaurant outside of the hotel where we were staying. I am so glad we chose Longhorn. Otherwise, we would have missed out on experiencing the service that Shaun provided. Even though he serviced several other tables, he still extended the same amount of attention and care to each of us. His level of customer services was more than just “excellent.” It was “superb.” He made us feel like we were valued and he didn’t miss an opportunity to check to see if we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. If I were hiring, Shaun would be my first selection and he would be used as that model employee to train others on what is expected of them as a representative of the company and what we want our customers to experience. “I took my dad tonight for Father’s Day and it was very busy. We were told an hour and half wait so we waited. From the crew at the reservation desk to the lady who took is us to our table and Evan our waiter everything was awesome. Even with being crazy busy service was great and food was great. “I ordered brunch from here over the weekend and got the shrimp & grits. My food was delicious and the portions were big! While I was there someone else was picking up their food and they ordered a cheesesteak that looked so damn good! I’ll definitely be back for that. “This was my second time eating here. The last time was years ago, and they didn't include lettuce with the BBQ, which was one of the reasons I started going elsewhere. However, my sister chose this restaurant for her birthday, so we gave it another try.
I'm happy to say they now include lettuce! The banchan was decent, the kimchi was delicious, and the BBQ was excellent. We ordered the second combo with the samgyeopsal and marinated beef. My brother-in-law did the grilling (as usual!), and I ordered the large naengmyeon (cold noodles in a delicious icy broth). I ate until I felt like I was going to explode!
The only downsides were that the space felt a bit cramped, and the prices were slightly higher than the other Korean restaurant we usually visit on Bethany Lane. Nevertheless, the most important thing is that the food tasted authentically Korean. 😋 The waitress was also very attentive, which made the experience even better.“

“Overall, it's a very solid spot.
The staff were friendly. The food was decent. The portions and prices were both medium. Our food was ready pretty quickly.
The potato corn dog is weird but recommended.

A couple small complaints:
One of the two sauces I had on my beef bulgogi bowl (I'm not sure which one it was) was congealed and kind of gross.
They don't let you customize the sweetness or ice level of your bubble tea. And mine had too much of both sugar and ice.“
