“We stayed for one night at the Marriott Owings Mill and decided to try The Tillery which is located in the hotel. The hotel was wonderful and we had a great meal at the Tillery. We had the putine for an appetizer and the branzino for our entree. It was exceptional. Our daughter had crab cakes which she throughly enjoyed. We ended with chocolate lava cake which was delicious! Shawanna provided outstanding service and all of her recommendations were spot on. The restaurant is lucky to have her. Would definitely recommend this establishment to others.“

We wanted for nothing, and he even caught that my husband dropped his fork in the floor and brought over a new set of utensils within a moment without being promoted. Well done. “I just hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here and the experience from start to finish was EXCELLENT! Candice was great to work with, designing a buffet menu and a space arrangement that worked with my party theme (murder mystery party for ~35 guests). We had the whole top floor and the vibes were immaculate and they set up the room exactly to my specifications and even made a couple changes on the fly (thank you!). I heard from so many people how great the food was — personally I LOVED the meatballs and the okra. Guests loved the wings, mac n cheese, channa masala, and sausage & rice especially. We had good drinks, friendly service, and an altogether wonderful time. Thanks so much to the Old Major team for making the evening perfect!“

“Amazing prices on all beverages. Always stocked and never gives any issues. Highly recommended as all places around charge significantly higher prices. The shop itself could use a remodeling, but I can forgive that as the prices make it worth it.

Parking: Just a small parking lot with 3 or 4 spots. You can park on the street across the street.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and there is a ramp to get in. It will be difficult to maneuver around inside as it is a small store with limited room.“

Be that a take-out pizza or a take out order for a large party at my home, a casual lunch on a jiffy or a meetup with good old friends on the kitchen and bar menu, or a banquette with a customized menu, the food is always great and prepared exactly as asked, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. To the point of few negative reviewers, naturally, as with any restaurant, there are bound to be occasional lapses, for variety of reasons, but regarding Maria’s those are so rare and far in between of an overall steadily great service that I’d regard those claims as a statistical error. So, my message is this: Maria’s has become a true gem of Reisterstown that cares about quality of food and service. “I’ve been to Tark’s Grill a few times now. I usually really enjoy all the food but this time not as much. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, fried oysters and tuna tartare to start. All were great, except the tuna tartare; which lacked flavor and had way too much wasabi, I was hoping for more citrus flavor.

For entrees, we ordered the seafood risotto, bronzino, and lamb burger. They were all delicious and good portions. Loved that the lamb burger came on a pita bread.“

“Good food at good prices. The outstanding feature is the extraordinary service by their personnel. The hostess went well beyond her duties assisting my friend who uses a rolling walker and myself. The server provided the most attentive service I have ever had. Even though the lunches we chose were very modest, we were treated by the waiter (also, as it was a light day, the bartender) was genuinely concerned that we were satisfied every step of the way. We were more than satisfied; both the hostess and the server treated us like royalty! My husband and I have enjoyed many dinners there over the years and have always had excellent service.
