“I stopped by Newtown Village for breakfast and ordered the breakfast platter with pancakes, creamy grits, scrambled eggs (no cheese), and well-done bacon. The food took a little longer than expected, but it was absolutely worth the wait.
The pancakes were fluffy with a nice golden finish, the grits were creamy and buttery, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon came out just how I like it—crispy and well done. I also appreciated the great selection of condiments, which made it easy to customize everything to my taste.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided great customer service from start to finish. If you’re looking for a satisfying breakfast that’s made fresh, Newtown Village is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back!”
I’d give this meal a solid 4.5–5 stars based on what you shared. The only downside was the wait, but the quality of the food and service seems to have made up for it.“

“Pretty cozy and low key restaurant.
Pretty mixed bag of what we got. The favorite was probably the dolsot (stone bowl) and egg roll like stuffdd with glass noodles. Latter made fresh and significantly crunchy even after long periods still retained it somehow.
Probably will go back to try something different.
But surprise, togo boxes charged 50 cents each. First time I've ever seen a restaurant do this for what you think should be free or part of just any restaurant outing
Sorry no pictures forgot!“

“Visited Jumak on Sunday night around 7:30 pm. They kept the interior and decor from the previous business Kare Bar, however added neon lights on one side of the wall. I personally felt the decor was very outdated and looked “cheap”. They left the bar “dark” which made the entire room looked very dark and not welcoming. Really wished they can consider redo their decor.
Despite having my personal opinion about their decor, their food was surprisingly very good. The portion of their entree is huge and good enough for two people to share. We ordered Chicken Katsu Don and today’s special “miso truffle salmon gnocchi”. The chicken katsu was absolutely delicious and a great comfort food. The panko breaded chicken cutlet was flavorful and crispy. The steaming egg was also savory. I especially appreciated the dish was served at a high temperature and not lukewarm. The daily special “miso truffle salmon gnocchi” was phenomenal, perfectly balanced with Alfredo creamy sauce and truffle. Both dishes were highly recommended!
We also ordered a glass of Peach Makge Bellini and Citrus Makge Sangria. Both cocktails were too sweet and not having enough alcohol, which could be improved.
Overall, Jumak is highly recommended. I also appreciate they open at late night.“

“My wife and I order from here often and we have tasted a lot of the menu and everything is good here. It's never packed which always confused me because the food and quality is good, but I guess the location makes it hard to see when driving down route 40. I hope they never change the food, we love it.“

“The food was delicious! We had pork belly, Galbi, mandu, jiggae, garanjin, and a few other dishes. The salad with the mandu was so yummy, the dressing is amazing. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and the staff were so kind. We enjoy Korean food and tryout different restaurants and this one is up there with the taste of the food.“

“Our family and a friends family meet at Kpot 2/3 times a month for dinner. The service is always great and the tablet makes ordering super convenient! We celebrated our daughter’s 10th birthday tonight and she really enjoyed the cheesecake (her bday dinner was also free which we didn’t know and thought was very nice)!“

“We had a good time there. The seafood pancake was great. The snowflake dumplings were good too. And of course the beef bone soup was very good. I would advise to get the one with the three different beef. We also like their side dishes. So yes, we're likely to go back.“

“Great little spot. Good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. There were a lot of Koreans eating there, so I assume/infer it's pretty authentic (but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know myself).
The eating area is very plain and no frills, but it's sufficient.
The bulgogi was very tasty. The dumplings were nice and crispy. Everything came out hot. The garnishes and mini soft drink at the end were a nice touch.
I thought my bulgogi was a bit heavy on the onions. And the dumplings could have used a little sauce. But overall, highly recommended.“

“Pretty sure we may have tried all the different sauces for the wings by now. I can’t even tell you which is my favorite cause they’re all so good. The chicken is always super crisp and flavorful. Everything is made to order so you have to wait a bit before they bring it out but it’s very worth the wait! The sides are huge, definitely shareable. I also tried the ramen bowl. The regular one. DELICIOUS 🤤 fun, upbeat place to watch the World Cup games also.“

“This was my second time eating here. The last time was years ago, and they didn't include lettuce with the BBQ, which was one of the reasons I started going elsewhere. However, my sister chose this restaurant for her birthday, so we gave it another try.
I'm happy to say they now include lettuce! The banchan was decent, the kimchi was delicious, and the BBQ was excellent. We ordered the second combo with the samgyeopsal and marinated beef. My brother-in-law did the grilling (as usual!), and I ordered the large naengmyeon (cold noodles in a delicious icy broth). I ate until I felt like I was going to explode!
The only downsides were that the space felt a bit cramped, and the prices were slightly higher than the other Korean restaurant we usually visit on Bethany Lane. Nevertheless, the most important thing is that the food tasted authentically Korean. 😋 The waitress was also very attentive, which made the experience even better.“

“Had the Dumbling Ramen and it was very good. It was spicier than I expected but I’m not bothered by such things; gave it a nice surprising kick. Comes in a metal bowl on hot pad, so be warned it will be quite hot at first and may need to let it cool a little before eating.“

“Micky’s Soju House is a fantastic place for late-night eats. Very affordable for such high quality food (I had the Hangover Ramen) and I see myself coming here more often for meals with friends. The cocktail (Melona) Susanna made for us was marvelous and she was attentive to us and made us feel welcomed. If I could rate 10 stars for the service I would!“

“Looking for authentic Korean cuisine? This is the place.
Very authentic from food selection, drinks offered, to interior atmosphere, wall decorations and the service. There is nothing fancy here, only hearty Korean vibes and food here. Everything is reasonably priced given the shareable size portions of each order. If you understand Korean culture, you will know how authentic this place is and will not complain about the service. It was good service to my opinion 😉
Definitely recommend @WineDinenVacay“

“We just ordered for the first time. Bibimbap and Japchae. Both were more tasty than expected, so we are very pleased. The gochujang was perfect! This is definitely a worthy place for sudden Korean food cravings! Please let us know if you ever have intentions of expanding the menu. I'll go ahead and request yookgaejang and soondubu jjigae upfront! 😁 Thank you! 고맙습니다!!! We'll definitely see you again soon.“
