“We pulled up 3 minutes after the establishment closed, but we saw the open light on from the road. The gentleman who opened the door to tell us kindly they were closed. As we walked away he opened the door and said to us come in and we will take care of you. We were returning off of a long commute from VA and everything was pretty much closed to grab a bite to eat. Our first time ever at a Firehouse establishment and the customer service was excellent. Thank you 💗“

“If you're in the mood for an exceptional dining experience, subway is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this charming bistro offers a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The warm lighting and modern industrial decor set the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.
From the moment you walk in, the service stands out. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, offering recommendations with a genuine enthusiasm for the menu. Our waiter, James, was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the extensive wine list, pairing a crisp Sauvignon Blanc with our appetizers.
The food is where subway truly shines. We began with the crispy Brussels sprouts—tender on the inside with a perfectly crispy exterior and topped with a tangy balsamic glaze. For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared salmon, which was cooked to perfection—flaky, tender, and paired with a refreshing citrus beurre blanc. My companion had the slow-braised short ribs, which practically melted off the bone, served with a rich, velvety mashed potato and roasted root vegetables. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail.
Dessert was equally impressive. The chocolate lava cake, served with a scoop of house-made vanilla bean ice cream, was decadent without being overly rich, striking the perfect balance of sweet and indulgent.
The ambiance is perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxing meal with friends or celebrate a milestone with loved ones. The Copper Table nails both comfort and class.
Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere make it worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in the city.“
