“I had fried chicken and French fries, and it was exactly how I like it. It was well done and well-seasoned. Actually, it was the best and had it twice in a row. He listened to what I wanted, and he made it happened.“

“Oh, Mary!!! How the Lord has blessed your hands. My experience was sooo worth the hour it took to drive there.
This is my third experience at an African restaurant (outside of colleague potlucks), and, oh, you delivered!!! From the personable and pleasant young man at the counter to the sheer deliciousness of your cuisine! Everybite was a taste of the Motherland, infused with blissful flavor, seasonings, and love. Yep, I said love!!!
As an African-born-American daughter of southerners, my granny believed that the best food is prepared by those who have love in their hearts. Keep up the beautiful work, Guys. Your cuisine is second to none!!!“

“LISTEN…… I know mama thought bid forget about her but I didn’t. This light soup/pepper soup is better than anything I’ve had this side of the Atlantic. Honestly it’s better than the fufu I had in Accra. She only cooks what she would cook at home and I can taste the love. And the customer service was on point. I asked for a bowl of water to eat with my hands and they made it happen.“

“I ordered jollof rice, egusi soup, and pounded yam from Foodsleeve for a party, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The food was absolutely amazing—flavorful, authentic, and cooked to perfection. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the rich taste of the jollof rice and the deliciously savory egusi soup. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. The team at Foodsleeve was incredibly responsive, accommodating all of my requests, and ensuring that everything was on point for the event. I highly recommend Foodsleeve for anyone looking for top-notch African cuisine“

“This place has the BEST Nigerian food around. Guaranteed. I’m so happy I found this place. The food taste amazing, portions are excellent, they don’t mess up orders, AND they pack their food so well and neat. I’ve tried many things on their menu and I’ve never been disappointed unlike other places in the area. I’m also Nigerian and the food is authentic. Please keep it up and don’t change!“

“I came from out of state with my family and decided to eat lunch here. The restaurant was cozy, cool and quiet. We ordered white rice and stew, Oha soup and egusi soup. Our food arrived few minutes later pipping hot and delicious! It reminded us of Nigeria. The food was so delicious that we wanted to thank the chef — the owner.
We ordered more for takeout and can’t wait to return again. The food was reasonably priced too.“

“This was authentic African food. Our order was made fresh and served with a smile. this location is unique in that they stay open late at night they're more of a late night carry out which is great for those individuals who can't find a place to eat and they want something different. GREAT FOOD“

“When a Yoruba Lyft driver told me about a Yoruba restaurant on Bel Air Road, I looked it up immediately. Stopped for lunch on the way to town today. Parking out front, in the back and on the side street. Plenty of seating inside, with takeaway options. The generous serving of amala (yam flour) was a smooth light brown. The goat meat was fall off the bone perfection. The gbegiri (beans) and ewedu (a dark green leaf) soup was just like 'home'. The eba (gari/cassava) was also well prepared. The egusi soup was full of the ground melon seed and the vegetable was a vibrant, fresh green. Enjoyed chatting with the owner and family. A most satisfying lunch.“

“I highly recommend Shai's Keecheen. I ordered Ayamase stew, Egusi soup and some bean soup and Nigerian pepper stew. To say all the meals were delicious is an understatement.
1000% good food, 1000% customer service. I definitely will be back for more.“
