The cookies went on a fun 2 week trip that ended up back at the store.🤦‍♀️ I decided to pick them up, as we can't let these cookies go to waste. “I was looking for a birthday cake last minute for my pup’s birthday. I called around and most places were unable to accommodate me due to the tight turnaround time. That’s when I reached out to VS Doggy Treats on Google. I spoke with the owner and she was so sweet and more than happy to take my order. She made the cake in literally one day! I was so happy. When I went to pick up the cake, she even threw in some organic treats for my pup. The owner is such a sweet soul and she deserves more business. Her customer service is top tier! Thank you again. “I ordered 5 dozen custom flavor cupcakes each with Italian meringue and a large tray of chocolate covered strawberries for my small wedding. For the morning of my wedding, I also ordered several quiches and pastries. Other than a small oops with the frosting on the cupcakes (which was resolved immediately), everything prepared for my wedding was absolutely perfect! I’m still receiving compliments from guests on how good the cupcakes were. My husband and I I have been back a few times since our wedding for quiche and a cinnamon sugar brioche doughnut (my weakness!).“

“I worked here for 10 years in the industrial Engineering department (Maintenance). Compared to other companies in the industry the salary is kind of low, but for anyone looking to start a career in this field it’s probably the best option there is. They will accept anyone who is willing to work and learn and they will train you. Most people spend a few years learning the trade and then move on to make more money. Myself included. I don’t understand why ownership would allow their best guys to leave that way rather than structuring something to compensate them for all their experience and skill, but that’s just how it is there. This is not to say you can’t make a decent living there because you can, but just not what could be made elsewhere. The high pace makes for a great learning environment. It’s extremely hot there, but most places are. That place will always be like a second home to me. I loved working there. If they could match my salary I would go back. That will never happen though for reason I’ve explained here already. They have extremely good benefits compared to anywhere else. Cheapest and great coverage. 401k is kind of low. Overall, best place for low experience people and a great place to work, but not somewhere to expect $100k a year or more. I always send people to them for jobs still and I’ve been gone for a couple years now. It’s just a great place to work.“

“We decided to randomly doordash a sweet the other night and were excited to find them on doordash. I’ve had the ice cream when at the Avenue but never the cupcakes. OH MY GOD. These were to die for. “Nice crew here. Saw me pull in and ran out to check my destination, immediately put me in a door. Pretty tight to maneuver and it will be a blindside 90 to get in the dock. Wasn't busy when I showed up. I can see how it could be a nightmare if it was though. Started loading me within minutes of hitting the dock. I did arrive about 45 minutes early.Assume there is no overnight parking from how small the place is and they also have day cab drivers that work here so they park all their trucks in the lot at night“

I would be OK if it was disclosed on the add. it's listed as $799 on sale for $399 (save 50%). There were no mention of rebate/coupon. I guess time to move on to the competition store.“

All the cookie flavors we chose were exceptionally amazing and delicious. The one cookie I wanted was not ready at the time if I had extra time to wait I would have. However we went with an alternative flavor and it was delicious. It was not our favorite because we aren’t big peanut butter fans but there was nothing wrong with the cookie itself. “I was a bit thrown off by how empty the store looks, but they have quality food and the owner is super friendly and helpful. I bought some Arab pantry items, spices, olives, hummus, frozen falafel. The olive oil is insanely good and very reasonably priced. I’ve always wanted to try preserved lemons so I picked them up there. There’s much more that I want to try (different pickles, halawa) that I’ll come back for. Check it out!“

“Just found this place did not know it took over the old Subway subs location. So glad I found it. They have a lot of different desserts unfortunately everything's in Spanish and they only speak Spanish but there is one girl there that speaks English and as long as you can point at something you can buy it they don't have as much as the traditional bakeries but they do have quite a lot and you got to give them credit for opening up during coronavirus time. They were very friendly and the place is very clean. They also offer birthday cakes made to order so this would be a great addition to the neighborhood.“
