“We love the shrimp fried rice, the chicken wings are crispy and fresh, and the cheesesteak subs are fresh and delicious. The bread is soft, and the meat is seasoned well with toppings. We haven't tried the seafood yet, but of the things we have ordered, it's great. The atmosphere is a take out spot with tables and chairs. We just get carry out.“

My dad and I both got the catfish bites (mine hot honey glazed, his honey Old Bay) with greens and mac and cheese. Catfish was crispy and well-seasoned. Greens were soft and full of flavor. “Ordered delivery to the TA truck stop, I got the 14" Classic Deluxe Pizza, 10pc mild buffalo wings, and a 2 liter of pepsi. The food did not disappoint. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients, and the onions and green peppers still had some crunch to them, unlike the chain restaurants. The wings were like pringles once you pop the fun dont stop. I devoured them one after the other. They were mild but satisfying if you wanted a little spice. Both people i interacted with were polite, and the driver called me to deliver it to my semi truck. If i stop here again, I'll definitely order from here.“

“Went the other night for dinner while the O's game was on. There was a group of people there who were very insistent that they turn the game audio off and put on music. When the staff decline they asked to speak to the manager, Henry, who tried his best to handle them professionally but they kept pressing him and eventually asked for the owner and GM's email addresses. A little while later another person form their party approached the manager again and insisted that he was being rude and dismissive (he wasn't) and said that they were going to leave a bad review. As a gesture of good will, he comped the person's order but even that was met with rude behavior (" I work in corporate America. Can I get that in writing").Imagine the hubris it takes to walk into a restaurant, demand they change the music to your personal tastes, and then give the manage attitude when he goes above and beyond to placate unacceptable behavior. In any case, good on the Henry for keeping his cool in a difficult situation. Top notch customer service that kept the rest of the restaurant unaware of the situation.PS...food is great too!“

“Just a quick review. Absolutely LOVE the food. The owners are both incredibly nice people and the food that the owner creates is beyond good. She is so kind and accommodating as to add or remove from the dish any ingredients you don’t like or add any you prefer so long as she has them available. I’ve come to Racer’s for well over 2 decades and always absolutely love the place from the old days of peanut shells on the floors and the old pool table in the back to its current state and the addition of food in my mind is tremendous. Gone is having to stop at Taco Bell or Dominick’s to get food to take there. Now I can get great food to go with the best happy hour and beer selection in Baltimore. Here’s hoping that Red’s remains for a long time.“

The spice on the fish isn't hot, so if you're ok with light spiciness (enough for light flavor) then this is good for you without being too spicy.Lamb Gyro: 9/10 the portion was amazing, you definitely get what you pay for here ! We were missing the side of white sauce that we ordered, so that was a bit of a letdown, but nothing major. The lamb is cubed so it's a little different from the Greek style gyros, and the white sauce isn't the same as Greek tzatziki sauce so keep that in mind as well. This is a solid go to if you don't know what to order.Combination rice platter: 10/10 the chicken is moist and a little spicy, it adds a nice flavor to the dish. The lamb cubes are moist, and they put a good amount of meat on the bowl. The basmati rice is just perfect ?. I ordered this with white and green sauce, next time I'll ask for extra sauce, it was just so good!Chopped steak:9/10 we ordered this exactly as it came, it was a little light on the meat, but the flavor was good. I'd get this again. The meat isn't like the usual cheese steak texture, it's finely chopped which makes it blend together beautifully with the toppings and adds a nice mix of textures.Scoop of hummus: 6/10 it was ok, it was lacking something but it wasn't bad, just not a favorite of mine.Side 0 I was so sad about these, they were so hard on the outside, I'm guessing they're made ahead, I'm not sure. The flavor on the inside was amazing, and if they weren't so damn hard then they'd easily be 10/10. Maybe I just got them on an off day , I will try them on a different occasion in hopes that they will be better. I wonder if because of their size being smaller it makes for them being so hard an issue.Side pita:9/10 good, but I like mine a little more crisp and hot, still solid though, just personal preference.All in all we're definitely coming back, I also love that they're open later in the night too ! “With my brother in from Florida we decided to try Costas which I had heard was good for crabs. It turned out to be a great choice…..as I had reserved 1 1/2 dozen of the biggest crabs they had. Perfect seasoning and waitress was in the kitchen as they came out of the steamer. My daughter had the crab cake sandwich which she loved and we started with the clams casino which was also very good.
