“This was a date night with my love and we had an exquisite experience from start to finish. He had the Samke Tajen (Salmon) which was very well seasoned and I had the braised lamb shank and it was absolutely delectable. The drinks were very well hand crafted cocktails with an amazing aroma to it. The ambiance was so gorgeous, it felt like we were not in Baltimore anymore. The service was out of this world! We met the owner, the GM, the captain, and our sessions served Dean who treated us like royalty! Overall everything was pure perfection!“

“My husband and I met some friends for dinner here. We passed by multiple, but this was our first time in. It feels like an upscale sports bar when you walk in. The service was standard and the food was very good. I heard that the lamb was a dish people raved about, so I tasted it. It did not disappoint! The salmon bites were also delicious. “🥰 MR. AMIR and his family are absolutely lovely people. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“Amazing food here! I was truly shocked by the blast of flavors my meal had in it. I forgot the name of the food I ordered, but it was an omelet with some chicken tenders inside with something yummy on top (I also forgot what it was LOL) with grits on the side. I didn't know the side was going to be extremely small, but it was delicious at least. I'd say the size if the omelet and the taste it had in it made up for it since it's the main dish. The maple- i think bourbon sausage was also tasty!! Ai Would definitely recommend giving it a try here just to try!“

“This is a typical bar with with bar food. No Different than TGI Friday, except a little better. The service is "OK" the servers are untrained as to waiting on tables. The first thing that should be brought to tables is eating utensils and napkins, the water. The tables dont have slat & pepper available for their patrons, you need to ask for it. The menus are not placed in front of customers upside down. (And I even brought it to her attention and she still didn’t correct it) ?? All in all the server was trying very hard to be attentive. The food was not terrible, it's typical bar food, and dont expect anything more. The Boom Boom shrimp are pre breaded frozen shrimp with the tails on and then fried and covered in some type of sauce. My daughter liked the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. The onion rings I thought were good. I ordered the toasted Italian sub and wasn't offered the option to get tater tots -vs- fries. I didn’t realize this till later and the fries were soggy. I think this is an "OK" spot for someone looking for a bar atmosphere and same for the food & service.“

“My son Aaron is on the extreme end of the spectrum and Kiwi is his service dog. This morning, Aaron wanted to go to breakfast which he never asks to do. Sarah Renae and I go to Double T Diner White Marsh for lunch periodically. I called to see how busy they were and if they had booths available. We got a booth in the back (near that giant TV) our waiter was amazing so was the hostess. Aaron does not like going to eat at restaurants because far too often he's made to feel unwelcome because of his service dog. Let me be clear not telling him to leave and making him feel welcome like every other customer are not the same. Today, he was made to feel welcome. Today, his service dog (Kiwi) was made to feel welcome. After we ate breakfast which he had this huge pumpkin Belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup with a side a bacon (only 12. 99) I let him pick out a desert for us to take home then he went outside while I paid. He picked the recess cheesecake for himself and the tiramisu for me. One of the hostesses came and asked how things where and if I was the one who had called earlier. I started to tear up as I thanked her and the staff for making Aaron feel welcome and like every other customer. I think it's important to acknowledge when a business not only does the right thing but does the right thing correctly and enthusiastically. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. The man was spot on it was absolutely amazing how every was seasoned and grilled to beyond perfection. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Chesapeake it was an absolute hit.I don’t know which one was better but I’d love to have a serving of either one again anytime. “Johnny Rad’s is a cool spot in Upper Fells Point. I first discovered it during my vegan journey and appreciated their meat alternative options. I hadn’t been back in a while, but my vegetarian daughter wanted a burger, and I remembered they had a great Impossible Burger. We ordered her the burger with fries (extra charge), and my wife and I opted for the ribeye cheesesteaks.

I placed a carryout order online, paid via Apple Pay, and declined a tip. Personally, I don’t tip for carryout unless I’m dining in, so I found it odd when I arrived and was asked to sign a receipt, even though I had already paid online. It seemed like they were hoping I’d reconsider the tip, which can feel a bit awkward.

Another thing I noticed: when the bartender gave me our food, it wasn’t in a bag. Baltimore’s bag fee aside, there was no option to add a bag when ordering online, which would have been helpful.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized they forgot the fries. The sandwiches came with chips, but they were stale, which is fairly common around here. I decided not to call the restaurant and just made a mental note to check my order next time.

That said, the food itself was solid. My daughter loved her burger, and my wife and I enjoyed the cheesesteaks—fresh bread, good portions, though I did find a few small bones in my sandwich (understandable with ribeye).

Overall, I’d recommend Johnny Rad’s for the quality and freshness of the food. However, I’d suggest a few improvements: double-check orders to avoid missing items, give customers a heads-up about the lack of bags, and eliminate the unnecessary receipt signing for online payments—it feels like pressure to tip. Despite these minor issues, I’ll definitely return, but I’ll be sure to check my order before leaving.“
