“Been going to Jake's for years and before that Shorty's (Jake's Dad) at old location. Stopped by on a Saturday for a pit beef Sammy. Ordered rare and that puppy was in my hands in 30 seconds. Grabbed some onions and their tiger sauce and drove home to eat. It was delicious & a huge portion and under $9. Normal people could almost split it but of course I devoured the whole thing w some chips. The guys who work here are awesome and have the whole process down to a science. Nice people to boot. I am a fan of their ribs and their in house bbq sauce too. I do not get there often since trying to cut back on red meat but when I need pit beef, this is my spot.“

“Ok, I’m just going to break it down by the sensory experience I had with the food, although the service and atmosphere were everything one could want. Anyways, here is what I noticed about the food I received The Crab Rangoons were piping hot with a creamy inside and a crispy fried shell (not a rubbery one) The Tom Yum Soup packed several big shrimp tails and was not imbibed with sugar (some restaurants load sugar into soup when it has no place being there). This soup was herbal , aromatic; and uplifting The sushi rolls (and of course I am no expert) were on par with some of the staple sushi restaurants in Baltimore such as Yama Sushi, Sushi Hana, and Maya Sushi. However, the creativity of the specialty rolls are where Miku Sushi really shines. I got quite a few that I would highly recommend: the Angry Dragon, the Sexy Lady, Mr Banana, and Green Dragon. This restaurant is family-owned. The owners take a lot of pride in the business. In fact, if you come to eat here they may even approach you personally and ask how everything was. I felt like this was a thoughtful gesture. For a five-year-old restaurant that survived through COVID, they must be doing something right.“

“Literally THE BEST iced lattes I’ve ever had!!! Not only is their coffee amazing, but the customer service is unmatched. The owner is so friendly and really takes pride is his work and his community. He makes a point to get to know all his customers. My husband and I feel so special every time we go. “I like their food. The only thing to note is they have 18% service charge included in the bill. I hadn’t realized that till recently and I had been paying 20% of what was already billed, which means I was tipping them 42% of our “meal”. I thought that was a bit sneaky as I was not informed although I shud have checked my bill before paying!! Just be aware!!!The food is great. Love their spicy ramen, tartar, calamari, curry etc. Only one time, the spicy kani Inari was bad (kani had a sour smell and it had gone bad). Other times the food had been good and my toddler loves their curry!“

“On a Saturday night May, 11 was my Birthday! My friend recommended Papas .My party of 5 had a wonderful time ,enjoying the food till we were pleasantly full. I even had room for my birthday cheese cake slice. The waiter and host were perfect. The maradi sent over a sampler for my birthday. Crab cakes were eaten by 4 + the ribs. I had a wonderful birthday here enjoying friends ,conversation and the joy in the restaurant.“

I often forget of this place, cause it's off the beaten path, but am always delighted when I remember and go! Highly recommended!!!! Only downside is never enough parking. I don't want to be forced to do valet because there are no other spots. I had to tip for the kid to walk like 10 feet to get my car! Haha“

“British cafe with a small menu of dine in and plenty of pastries/baked goods to choose from. We were in the area and saw this place on the map and decided to give it a try.You place an order at the counter and then find a seat. It was packed on a Friday morning. The inside is very small and narrow, with a lot of small tables.We ordered a sandwich, pancakes, and a sausage roll. The sausage roll had such good flavor but felt too buttery. The egg sandwich served on the crumpet was just ok, I loved the crumpet. I will just get the crumpet next time. The pancakes were my favorite. They were perfectly fluffy and had a sweet crunchy topping served with bananas. I love fruit so I wish they gave more fruit! Everything was delicious but on the heavier side.I’d come back to try the delicious looking baked goods!Parking there’s a lot and there’s extra tables outside if it’s warm!“

“Went today with my wife for an anniversary wine-tasting. The staff there is amazing. They let us try a wonderful variation of wines, from dry whites and Reds to sweet wines.They were all fantastic! “Food and service are great! Pizza is great! Atmosphere was a nice place and feel of the place but weekend nights or busy times are pretty loud in here. It was hard to hear anyone that wasn't right next to me. It's not a huge deal but you have to be in the mood for that. If uou want quiet dining on weekend nights I would not expect this to be your choice. I will go during the week instead and love the food.“

I could be mistaken, but I suspect they are using electric smokers, hence If you are the kind of person that enjoys Mission BBQ, you'll love this spot. Their Mac n Cheese was banging!“

“Yamato Sushi is one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. It's on the smaller side, especially compared with Umi Sake or Sushi Hana, but that doesn't diminish the restaurant's excellence. I've had both sushi and entrees from the restaurant and everything is exquisite and fairly priced. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the latter of which is definitely helped by the cozy environment.I highly recommend giving Yamato Sushi a try. You won't regret it.“

“Lovely family owned restaurant conveniently located off I 83 in Hunt Valley. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Our lunch was delicious. The kale salad was so flavorful and the salmon was grilled perfectly. My husband loved both his burger and his fries. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. “Went to karaoke with my social group and had a great time. Our bartender Jason was on top of everything. He had our drinks and food ready like we were the only people in the bar( and believe me, we were NOT) ! The regulars that were at the bar were super friendly and engaging. The karaoke was casual and fun , not a bunch of American Idol Contestants. It was such a warm inviting atmosphere that we felt like we had been going to this bar for years when it was in fact our first time. LOVED every single thing about our visit to Silver Spring Mining Company! 100% recommend and 100%going back!“
