“My family came to the Silver Diner midweek for breakfast to celebrate my grandmother’s 90th birthday. Badr was our server and was so friendly and attentive. We casually mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, without any expectations, and at the end of the meal they brought out a treat with a candle and got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday. Perfect for 90! She loved it. Also, the oat milk protein pancakes were incredible!“

“I wish this pub was closer to my house! The service is great! The bartenders are your servers and man they set the bar high! Majority of the food is cooked to order and I can taste the effort that is put into making sure it is just right! The atmosphere is very pub like! I walk in and feel welcome but be warned this place can be busy depending on the day of the week and time of day! The specials are great! A couple of weeks ago, we experienced 1/2 price burger night. Last week, we experienced taco Tuesday. Both of those days will be in my radar in the future. Breakfast is super yummy! “We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at City Tap. The evening was absolutely fabulous! From the initial visit, planning meetings and the final events, the process was smooth. Our events coordinator, Emily, was so helpful and brainstormed with me since we had a rather large group. The wait staff attentive and friendly, the food delicious and cocktails tasty. “Looking for Bottle of Red-wine and found this restaurant very close to our residence. Went up to the shop had a look at the wine display took one bottle each of red-wine Spain and Italian, the lady on the counter very polite and helpful answered sone questions and took for billing. They do have variety of meat and meat products. Can have done beer or soft drinks with food there itself. It a great place to visit. Amble space for free parking, pricing reasonable. We were looking for some venison meat, not readily available they tired to organise from a supplier, since our qty was not matching couldn’t make it.“

“One of the best food places I’ve been to in the DMV. Talked to the head chef Jason. Great guy! He made the menu and all the ingredients are of the best quality. They pickle everything themselves and cure their own bacon! A very unassuming place but I’d recommend anyone to try it!“

“It's the hotels casual fare. If your expectations are fine dining you'll be disappointed, but as far as a calm and relaxing bar with Virginia theming then you'll have a good time.

Food is generic but consistent (bar foods with occasionally new fare). Staff is attentive since it's usually calm.
