My wife and I finally made it to MELT in Leesburg after hearing great things, and let me just say… shame on us for waiting so long. Debbie, the owner (and now part-time head-bopper), greeted us like we were long-lost cousins showing up late to the family BBQ. When I told her it was our first visit, she gave me a playful bop on the head with our table number and asked, “What took you so long?” Touché, Debbie. Touché. Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). “OMG! Where do I start...From the unassuming quaint colonial home to the wonderful welcoming of Mona herself. You will fall in love with Mona and this place immediately! It's just like walking into your own Grandma's home and Mona makes you feel that way too! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! “My friend recommended this place so we gave it a try. Now we are fans too. We loved all of the flavors we got. Especially the sour cherry pie and blackberry pie. We followed the GPS and it was hard to turn and park into the parking lot. They have 6 parking spots in the front of the shop but because the shop itself is so small the customers have to just stop by and grab their order to go. The service was very efficient because it was quick to get what we want and go. One thing I felt today was that they are popular and busy so I was kind of getting too close to the others who were already there in the shop before me. There simply isn’t enough room inside to take your time to decide what you want when people keep coming and going. You kind of have to already know what you want. We didn’t really know how small it was inside since it was our first time so we weren’t prepared. The door is heavy so be ready for that, but they do have a sign on the door saying that. We will definitely go back and try some more selections there and be better prepared to order what we want.“

“The best! They get their salmon fresh everyday and you can tell. Watch the sushi chefs - 6 guys behind the bar working constantly when they are busy. All of their food tastes so fresh and tasty. And their cocktails are delicious! Staff is generally super fast. I eat a lot of sushi and this is by far my favorite place!“
