“Mumu Cafe is right off of Langston Blvd in the same building space as MOM's Organic Market. I stopped by this past Saturday morning to grab a quick drink after a run. I got a 16 OZ MUMU COLD BREW (4.25) which was light and refreshing. I thought it could have been stronger in coffee flavor though, as it was more watered down than I would like. Overall, the interior was well decorated and it's definitely a hidden gem in the area. The next time I'm back, I'll try some of their food items and espresso based drinks.“

I absolutely love the dandelion tea drinks because they taste like coffee without the caffeine I usually get the dandelion tea with less/half sweetness and the staff is always super nice and patient about getting the sweetness level exactly how I like it! “We were staying next door to the Flavor Garden and came in for breakfast on our first day in DC, the service was good, the good was so good. I keep thinking about the scrambled eggs! They tasted freshly scrambled and made out of real eggs, and seriously the best eggs I have had in my life! The french toast and bacon were also good but not as good as those eggs! We returned that evening for dinner and my husband and I both had the burgers. They were the best ever! Great flavor and texture and so savory. I also had one of the best margaritas I have ever had and all in all really good filling meals! I wish we got a chance to go again before we left DC. Believe me when I tell you go check them out!“

“MOM'S Organic Market's "Naked Lunch" is an all-organic cafe serving in-house-made vegetarian and vegan sandwiches, salads, bowls, juices, and desserts. It is my favorite go-to lunch spot when at work. Each week they have a special raw pressed juice, different desserts to pick from and one or two different entrée options. For the most part you can grab the staples such as their Kale Caesar, Confetti Bowl, Moler Bowl, Sushi Bowl, Black Bean Burger, Cauliflower Tacos, Jammed Yam and Greek Potatoes. This time around I went with the Confetti Bowl. The Confetti Bowl consists of a hefty portion of brown rice and black beans with grated parmesan cheese, mixed peppers, olives, tomatoes, corn, garnished with cilantro and jalapeños and a zesty lime jalapeño dressing. This was $10.75. I was unaware that you could add items so next time I will add tofu for some added protein!“

This is the one of the best places I've ever been to, and trust me when I say this, for I have went to tons of places in search for great boba. The place is clean and the workers are friendly. I ordered taro boba tea, crystal boba, aloe jelly, and no ice. That was my usual order.. until I tried the milk foam here. It is perfect! The texture is so nice, the flavor is sweet but not too sweet. I ordered that drink so many times that I can't even count. Another one of my favorites is the brown sugar cloud. Not many places have such cloudy boba that is this delicious.“

I do like their self serve kiosk machines which can make things efficient if you know what you want and have done it before. But did I tell you about the Vietnamese ice coffee??? If you have never been here before and you do like coffee, give this a try. There is the OG Vietnamese ice coffee that is stronger and bolder in flavor that may need some time for the ice to help dilute the flavor a bit; unless you like really strong coffee.“

“Gong Cha is the OG and there's a reason they're everywhere! Lots of flavor selections, quick service, and good tasting bubble tea. Ordering with the kiosk can be a bit weird because for some reason you can't change sugar or ice level on some drinks, but if you order at the counter the staff can make those modifications for you. I ordered a classic - dirty brown sugar milk tea with boba. The boba was excellent! Not super chewy, but not hard either. Went down easily and tasted great. The brown sugar milk tea tasted like brown sugar, not much to speak on there. Will be here whenever I'm in Rosslyn and have a hankering for bubble tea.“

My husband got the Reese's Blast that had lots of chocolate and peanut flavors to it. Both items weren't overly sweet which I really appreciated. The order can be placed by using the touchscreen or by letting the cashier know. The price can be a bit extra except it's worth it. Our two ice cream orders came out shy of $16 but it comes with at least 3 free toppings of our choosing. The only gripe I have is parking. The lot in front of the store is perpetually full. It's best to park across the street if able.“
