“Consistently the best food in Rio! Service is always good, and the food is excellent! The pickings for good food in Rio have become slim over the years with constant restaurant closings but Guapos has survived for a reason.
The queso is to die for, my favorite in the area for dine in Queso Blanco. Also every wait staff I've had tend to my tables has been attentive and kind.
There will probably be a wait for a table but it's worth it if you're in Rio already for a movie or something, as there's really no better place to eat in Rio.“

“We had a wonderful experience dining here! Our server checked on us regularly to make sure everything was going well. There was a slight delay with one of our drinks, but they handled it so graciously — they apologized and comped it without us even asking.

The food was fantastic. We ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, and the steak was cooked perfectly to a medium rare — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Everything arrived quickly, and the server provided extras as requested.

Highly recommend the dancing Molly oysters as an appetizer. The restaurant is absolutely a beautiful place. The food is innovative, creative, and most importantly delicious. Portion size is perfect and accurate and you will not leave hungry. Every single dish was amazingly unique, It was an absolute amazing experience. “Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. The owner was so friendly and they really made an effort to prepare our meal for us. Overall great food and we’ll definitely be coming back!“

From the moment I stepped up to the register, Dora greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. Her welcoming demeanor set the tone for a great experience.

But that was just the beginning. Dora continued to impress with her exceptional service, bringing my food to me and checking in later to see if I needed anything else. When I mentioned I was taking my food to go, she even brought everything I needed to pack up my meal and salsa. I got the pick 2 fajitas with steak and shrimp, an extra side of carntas with a small chips and queso, which was very tasty and a nice sized portion. I'll definitely be eating the rest for lunch tomorrow!

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

I think I was the first customer and I bought a tri tip, an excellent cut of beef not carried by the local supermarkets. The restaurant portion of the store makes everything fresh to order, including the tortillas.“

“I placed a call in order for pick up. Two chicken enchiladas.. came with rice beans, pico, guac and sour cream. Also got queso and chips and an horchata. The horchata was very good!! All the food was great except I wasn't a fan of the rice.. didn't taste like normal Mexican restaurant rice.. it tasted like the Knorr Spanish rice, which if you've ever had that before, it tastes very plain. The food was hot and ready and the girl who helped was friendly. I was searching all Mexican restaurants in the area and this one had the best prices as well.“

They offer quite the variety of foods plus a lot of beer too.

The people there were very friendly, and happy to converse with (and figure out what food to pick haha).

I ended up getting the Indian Hen Soup. A simple but warm and pleasant soup with three huge pieces of chicken on the side. The portions are very generous, do expect to leave some for tomorrow!“

“Honestly this is one of the better California Tortilla locations I have gotten food at. I sometimes eat here when I’m at the mall with my girlfriend when we can’t agree on something. The food is pretty good and the service is friendly and professional. I definitely recommend this food court eatery if you’re in the mood for California style Mexican food and quirky burritos.“

When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed how clean and welcoming the place was. The customer service was a perfect 10/10—everyone was lovely and attentive.
