“On behalf of our group of 17 friends who chose Adam’s Grille to celebrate the life of a dear friend Vena who passed a couple of months ago, I would like to thank LeAnn, Joe, Rose of their staff who made our gathering warm, memorable and tasty. They went beyond the call of duty to set a section of tables aside for us. Everyone was able to order their favorite dishes that were served promptly, hot and delicious. From chili to pastrami sandwiches to hamburgers and more we chowed down our food and raised a toast to Vena. Everyone loved their food! Adam’s Grille was chosen in large part because it was Vena’s favorite restaurant. It is now our favorite restaurant. Thanks for making our time so special .“

“I regularly visit both the café and dining locations, and both have a wonderful ambiance for solo working (reading, studying, etc.), as well as meeting with friends for coffee. Scrumptious and interesting food fare, and truly warm and memorable service. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been lovely, but special mention to Eric, Daniel, and Grant, whose hospitality has been inviting and impeccable every time. The owners were absolutely incredible — attentive the entire time and genuinely invested in making the celebration special. They went above and beyond to personalize the event, even helping us display a slideshow on the television screens, which added such a meaningful and fun touch for our guests. The food was fantastic and consistently replenished throughout the party — no one ever felt like they were waiting or missing out. And the drinks? On point all night long. 🍸👏 What really stood out was how hands-on and accommodating they were. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in making events seamless and memorable. If you’re looking for a place to host a birthday, celebration, or private gathering in the Millersville area, I highly recommend On The Rocks. “We love the Drummer’s Lot Pub, and stopped by several times after dinners during our 4 days stay. Gave the food a five star, but honestly didn’t eat there. The rating didn’t allow us to skip it.
The atmosphere is very cool. Blues music playing, and decor remind you of a speakeasy. The hostess, Julia, is our favorite. Patrons are nice and “behave”, not loud. Somehow, I don’t think Julia would tolerate it! Highly recommend.“

“I love this bar, and have gone there for 30 years. Its a great place to go for a beverage, good conversation, or to exercise your skills on the felts with all the pool tables. The only critique I could think of is that they could honestly use some regular bar snacks or bites of any sort available to patrons all the time, but they do occasionally make food on holidays and special occasions to share. That and the aesthetic could use some modern making over. Plenty of parking. Plenty of elbow room. Small neighborhood bar vibes. Never any drama.“

“OMG. What are the chances that I run into Ms. Khadijah again? On top of that, I had mistakenly thought my flight was earlier and ran into Raymond but he gave me the low down. He was a sweetie pie, too. Man, I miss the East Coast! Nothing but cool peeps like me just living their lives. After learning that I had a 4 hour layover, I was STOKED. Saw my girl, Khadijah for my returning flight to LA!! I was ECSTATIC! YOU HAVE NO IDEA. It's not the drink but the great vibes and company at Martini. In fact, I noticed that when she's working, she's always got a full bar. It's her excellent attitude and vibe! I showed up and she had everyone up at the bar so I sat to the right of the bar so I can charge my phone! Even better, she remembered me! She told me that you can grab a drink if you have family, and sit across the way, if need be because those under 21 cannot sit at the bar.

2025.11-05/WED_1400: Just finished a long flight from LAX and had a two hour layover at BWI. I found the only bar between Concourse A and B. Originally, I was trying to stay close to gate A8. Had no idea my gates had changed to gate B.

Martini is located at the top of the escalator on the way to Concourse B and the food court. The airport is under construction but you'll see it when you look for the escalator. There was a good amount of customers that looked like they were also on a layover having a great time.

The bartender was a gorgeous lady by the name of Khadijah. It's so wonderful to see her beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. I don't know how she does it dealing with some grumpy and idiotic people! She's incredible just knocking everyone out with her wonderful customer service, attitude and SMILE. This changed her from beautiful to gorgeous or gorgeous to stunning. Whichever is top notch! Hospitality is 200%! Some customers feel so entitled and she handled everyone like a champ. No fuss, just a lovely attitude and she let stuff roll off her like waterproof wood stain.

She also made me a drink called a Sexy Mule which had muttled blueberries, a flower of some sort (can't remember which flower liquor she told me) and extra ginger (it looked like pink lemonade garnished with blueberries). It hit the spot! Great suggestion! It was nothing like those bland Moscow Mules.

If you are wondering where to go after a long flight and you're stuck at BWI for a long layover, I would suggest you see Khadijah at Martini because you won't receive stellar hospitality at any other bar at BWI like this! I'll be returning to BWI next week so I hope I see her again for my insane layover!

“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“
