“We made second visit after one last year. I don’t think they get many visitors outside the neighborhood, which is a shame bc the food is amazing and the service is so warm and welcoming. The older woman and younger man who served us is were happy to explain everything and chat.
They are willing to organize the food however you want (individual or family style). My daughter brought in a big Tupperware and they filled it with shira. $60 for 5 plus carry out shira and injera.

“Cute little ramen spot in the heart of Bethesda. Popped in on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch. My mother and I split an old school shoyu ramen bowl as we don’t eat a ton and it was very yummy! I asked the staff for their help in building a bowl since it was my first time and ended up with a delicious chicken bowl with half rice/half veggie base. Yum! “We had an amazing and beautiful experience at the Firefly restaurant Friday.

We came in earlier around 6:30 it was our anniversary and the service from our host and waiter was exceptional. They seated us at a nice table and immediately served us with cold water and good service was fast and top quality. The waiter was really nice to us and the food especially was delicious.

We ordered the filet mignon with Brussels sprouts and truffle fries and the firefly burger with truffle fries. By far one of the best meals of my life, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly to our desires. The firefly burger patty was tasteful and extremely well balanced.
We particularly loved the truffle Parmesan fries, they were fresh and crunchy, Parmesan flavor at the forefront with a light truffle taste left in your mouth. Delicious and one of the highlights of the meal.
We ordered dessert which was crème brûlée, side note I’m from France, but the crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had crunchy not burnt and the cream light, the restaurant even offered it as a gift for our anniversary.

Overall our experience was perfect and we had nothing bad to remark, thank you to the staff for making our night perfect.

Every part of the sandwich is created in house except for raising the animals for the meat.Trying every sandwich at their launch party, every single one was delicious, especially with the housemade buns. However, my favorite was the “Chivito” with beef, ham, bacon, egg, and more. The “Ampburger” tastes like a gourmet Big Mac and it’s everything.Their wedge fries are crispy and nice. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are chocolate heavy and always warm. “Gatsby is one of my favorite places to go and recommend in DC, especially for brunch. The food is always good, the atmosphere and environment is even better. On Saturdays, I believe, there’s a DJ. The last time I visited, Marianna was my server and she was amazing! She was proactive about anticipating the needs of me and my party. She also went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. In addition to Marianna, Marcel, one of the managers, was extremely nice and helpful as well. He made rounds to all the tables to see how everything was going. They were also proactive when we mistakenly spilled some water and (I believe) David was promptly on the scene to assist. Truly a top tier experience.
Ordered calamari, shrimp and grits, and tuna melt. Bottomless brunch, tequila sunsets. Would order everything again. Did not make a reservation; can walk in the closer it is to opening.“

✨️ Cơm tấm: Traditional vietnamese plate that comes with lemongrass pork chop, steamed pork & egg meatloaf, fried egg, bì, rice with fish sauce and pickled radish/carrots.
✨️Hot stone phõ: Phõ served in a hot stone with everything on the side to be cooked how you liked.
✨️ Bò né: Sizzling beef & eggs served with rice or banh mi.
For those that don't know, I'm half vietnamese and spent a lot of time at eden centre growing up, so I absolutely LOVED this meal with the home-y & comforting flavours of my childhood.
I plan on visiting more often with this being my 2nd time back at eden already this year!
