Diving into the menu, I started with the tacos de birria – slow-braised beef that’s fall-apart tender, stuffed into soft corn tortillas, and served with a side of consommé that’s rich, spicy, and utterly addictive for dipping. Followed up with tlayudas, the Oaxacan street food staple: a giant crispy tortilla topped with stringy quesillo cheese, shredded chicken, and vibrant pasilla salsa. When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

“This was a small, authentic Mexican restaurant and it was AMAZING! Best tacos I think I’ve ever had. Never been a fan of corn tortillas but this place converted me. You order at the counter and they serve you. We had a large order (6 people) and they got the entire order 100% correct. Service was super fast, food was delicious and look at the beautiful clay “mugs” our drinks came in! I sadly don’t get down to this area often but it I ever did, I would definitely visit again!“

“I kid you not when I say that this is one of the top ten Mexican restaurants of ALL TIME. Im pretty critical of food but I could not find a single thing wrong with the cuisine. I think I had an outer body experience by the time i finished my quesadilla. I would 112% go out of my way just to come here. If you ever need Mexican food in the college park area, look no further than here.“

“This is a little cozy spot. Seems like there are local regulars here and it's family run. So I knew the food wouldn't disappoint and it sure didn't. The food here tastes very homemade and clean without compromising on taste.

Soft Chicken Tacos (8/10) - From the very first bite I knew it was fresh and everything tasted spot on. The rice and beans were decent too.

Chimichanga (9.5/10) - This was probably the best thing I've had here. It's perfectly delicious, wasn't overly greasy and heavy. It was perfect. This one might be the go to for most people.

Patron Platter (9/10) - This dish was also spot on, but the pork tamale 🫔 was just what it needed to be a complete dish. A great option if you're feeling a variety of food.

Tres Leches (8/10) - While this wasn't the best I've had, it by no means disappointed. The cake was good but more importantly it was sweetened perfectly. I've been to too many spots that over do it, so it was nice to find a spot that gets it right for a change. I recommend this one for dessert.“

ive noticed that a alot of the members have improved there english since my first review, they have improved greatly in the service realm. Also the quality of the food is amazing for it's price. To describe it in simple terms is... It tastes like the staff care about the foods flavor. My usual meal costs 12-13 dollars.
Really helps me out (who is a struggling college student) get quality food. I'm so happy there not raising the price like othe restaurants are. If I order the same at Chipotle, I would pay 16-18, for less quality food that honestly tastes like cr*p. Compared to qdoba's 12-13, well portion food, and in generally better cooking.

One thing I want them to improve is to make breakfast last anther 30mins. There been a few times where I get there 10 mins late and breakfast is over.
