“This is a very cool place. I just went so my kid could check out the rated chess tournament (blitz G3+2) that happens every Monday night. Charles Village Chess hosts the Monday blitz and G20 quads Friday elsewhere, I believe. There was not only chess , but Mah Jong being played, good beer, live music outside, a room with like 30 operating pinball machines, another room full of vintage video games. Nice artsy, laid back vibe. Diverse crowd of friendly people. They only serve drinks, and a tiny bit of merch, so BYO outside food ok. All the brewery tanks and pipes visible...and this was on a Monday night. I wonder how Fridays are. I'm a fan. My son had fun playing chess...and reported the players were strong, which he appreciated . I had a beer while I waited for him to compete. We'll be back.“

“I recently read an article that said the best bakery in Maryland is Ovenbird. They are wrong. IT IS THIS PLACE. Fantastic bakery -- the croissants are fabulous. If I had to critique the place it would be they need a 2nd barista, or a cheap intercom system. The tiny place only holds 6 people (and a dog!) and 5 of those are standing around waiting for their coffee.“

“Yesterday was my first visit to Corner Juice Bar, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered a fresh wheatgrass shot—it was both affordable and made to perfection. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The decor has a nostalgic charm that took me right back to my childhood—especially the mini piano and gold telephone. I’ll definitely be coming back every day!"“

“If you have gluten or dairy allergies, this place is Heaven! My daughter swears the staff here are magical fairies because no human can make food this good that is GF and DF! “Cute spot for a chill date night. The food, drinks and service were all good. I also enjoyed the music; it was Top 100 Pop music. We ordered a medium pizza that we finished. The “small” Caesar salad was big enough for 2. We ordered the sangria “on fire” so it came in a metal branded cup with a tiny cup of fire in the middle for +$2. Cute. We also ordered a beef lasagna to go, it was good and I appreciate there wasn’t any pork in it. I’ll come back.“

“Small traditional coffee place. Great quality of coffee and most importantly how the owner carefully crafts the drinks he prepares. Absolutely amazing his attention to detail and how consistent the presentation is.
Hopefully all the baristas appreciate the owners dedication and imitate his precision making drinks.“

“1:39 4 ..ll 5G§ 83 < Reviews Koba Café First coffee shop of 2023! Koba is a cozy shop on the corner. The young lady at the counter was friendly. She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

“Wow! We ordered carryout from Ellie’s Tavern and were absolutely blown away. The food was incredible — huge portions, hand-cut fries, house-made blue cheese, and perfectly hand-breaded chicken tenders. The Crab Rangoon dip and Buffalo Cauliflower were outstanding. The service was awesome — fast and friendly — even while busy. We can’t wait to dine in next time. What an awesome Canton neighborhood gem!“

“The Backyard is the best neighborhood bar in Baltimore. Expertly curated wine and spirit list, knowledgeable and friendly staff with amazing food and cocktails that are all very reasonably priced. It is am absolute hidden gem!“
“Loved our experience. The bartenders are super nice, and the beer is delightful. I especially enjoyed the sour. The seating was comfortable. We would return just for their pup alone - she was a very good girl. They have a wide array of pinball machines and board games. And I was impressed at how many events they do, from corn hole to paint and sip events. We'll definitely be back.“

“Three of us got some veggie sambusas (and then we ordered more of those because WOW) and the Tabor. The Special Tibbs was so great that we asked for a separate order of it in chicken (lamb, beef, or chicken). We “bothered” our waiter quite a bit and he didn’t mind a bit. He was so caring and kind. It was such a neat little spot and with music playing. Just a whole vibe. 1000% will be returning!“

“We are visiting from Canada. We received fantastic service and the food was incredible. The restaurant even helped us get back to our hotel when the cab didn't show up as our phones weren't working. Thank you Abigail and the hostess (unfortunately I can't remember her name). They ended our evening on a positive note which won't be forgotten 🤗. 5 stars.“

“Enjoyed my breakfast here. Lots of variety on the menu. I appreciated they had 3 different seating options: 1) inside the restaurant, 2) out in an enclosed patio area, 3) an outdoor seating area. I relished in the music they played from Buddy Holly and that era. It made for a perfect start to a Sunday. Prices were reasonable for that area.“

“Absolute gem of a place! We stopped in for lunch after a hot hike from top golf and it felt absolutely amazing in here. It was a well decorated modern industrial vibe that smelt brand new! The bartender who was also the waitress was amazing! The beer and drinks were ice cold and our chicken strips and fries were fresh and delicious! Glad we found this place on a whim.“
