“Always busy, but seriously the best burger in town (if not the world), so it's worth the wait. I grew up on Good Stuff burgers and shakes. The Prez Obama burger (I think now known as the Prez Burger) with house fries (rosemary and all things delicious) with a toasted marshmallow shake (or cherry blossom if it's in season) is to DIE for. Also Spike's Sunnyside burger is delicious. Highly highly recommend for tourists looking for a dope local find.“

From the moment we sat down, they were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. For a ward 8 resident and DC native, we take Sunday morning breakfast serious, and nobody wants to travel to PG, VA or cross the bridge for family breakfast. I have been to that IHOP at least 100 times, so I have seen the good and the bad times. I will say this, there is a noticeable difference in the customer care experience. From the attention to detail of the employees, the cleanliness of the restaurant (especially the bathroom), and the friendly staff, I was wholly impressed. “Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“So for my birthday we stayed at the National Harbor August 14th through the 17th.
What is something to do so we caught the ferry over to Alexandria Virginia. When we got off the ferry when on King Street saw all these restaurants and we pick Emmy square Pizza.
I chose the pizza half pepperoni half sausage and my girlfriend had some type of deluxe pizza. Both were good and also we sat outside and there was a guy playing the saxophone.
Now I have to go to the location that's in Philadelphia where I live.“

“Bacon double burger: 9/10 The first bite of this burger was full of flavor. I recommend the secret sauce with it. After a car ride home the burger wasn’t much to look at but was great!

About the size of my fist a bit bigger it was a large burger and definitely worth the money for the combo $19 to get the fries and drink included.

4/5 seasoned fries: good but not the star of the show it was crispy and seasoned well.

During lunch I wouldn’t go to this location unless you work in the plaza. Parking was hard to find and $15 for 1 hour if you use the plaza parking.“

“My first time at this Bubbie’s location. I was a big fan when they were in DC. The food is the best! I recommend ordering ahead on your phone because my experience was very slow. Like, delivery drivers waiting around, people warning their friends not to order there slow. It took my order 25-30 minutes to be ready. If you order when you arrive, you order on a screen anyway. And they only have one device for ordering, so you could potentially wait while someone else is using it. So again, just order on your phone ahead of time! It’ll be ready when you arrive. All seating is outdoor. It’s a very nice space, but of course something to keep in mind if the weather is bad. We parked in the parking garage across the street. It was free on the weekends.“

Jamie the owner is very personable and if you’re new, gives great recommendations for food or drinks. Basic has the best cocktail menu in the whole square. I recommend the Chicago dog or the burger but if you can make it on the weekends the bagel sandwiches are delicious and everything is reasonably priced.“
