“1.5 HOUR DINING LIMIT!!!! Chief's will always be one of our favorites! The food is terrific 100% of the time, year after year. The staff work really hard to make us feel welcome and attend to all food/beverage needs. My one criticism (and everyone I've spoken to feels the same) is the 1.5 hour limit for dining. We don't go out for a leisurely dinner often, so when we do, we like to order appetizers, main courses, desserts and plenty of drinks. When you find yourselves a minute into dessert and a fresh round of drinks, and it's time to pay the $250-$300 check and leave b/c the 1.5 hour limit is up, it's a total bummer! This time, we actually had to pick up our desserts & drinks and find room [for only some of our party] at the bar, so we could finish. If you are going to have a time limit, put a timer on the table. At least that way, when your time is almost up, you can forget about ordering the desserts and last round of drinks. It was too embarrassing to rush to carry the rest of our meal to the bar, just so we could finish what we paid for.“

“The food gets an A. The service and the atmosphere get a 20 on the 10 scale. If we were local this would be our new Sunday morning spot. “Had brunch here today and as always the experience was nice. Hubs had the fried chicken and eggs and I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The star of the show was definitely his fried chicken. I could have closed my eyes, taste that chicken and would have thought I was at a soul food restaurant. A must try!

Also, I did not know CB served beer and wine. I enjoyed the peach mimosa during my meal and it was lovely.

“We came to the Ruddy Duck while in town visiting family so we could have a belated anniversary date.. We had a most incredible experience...our server David was attentive and pleasant without being over bearing...his menu recommendations were on point! The crab dip is stellar...my husband and I got what was on special...he got the crab cake burger with duck fat fries and I got the steak frites...everything was cooked perfectly! The duck fat fries beat out the well known ones from our current home town, and the steak was melt in your mouth...the mushroom peppercorn sauce was to DIE for... I was so thrilled that Chef agreed to sell me a small container of just the sauce to take home. My husband is going to regret that he brought me, because now we are going to have to go back every time we come back to visit family...10 stars out of 5! ❤️“

“Olde Town Pub We have always loved The Pub, so since we were getting married down the street, we decided we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner here. The staff gave us the entire outside area on the left. We were catered to, taken care of, and fed with amazing food. The wings are always delicious, the drinks are consistently rotating to try new beers, and the staff is always kind and helpful. You can’t go wrong going here for any reason!“

“My dad's birthday dinner was exceptional in so many ways tonight! Brian deserves a shout out for being a stellar server, and the food was all perfect! “Great food, great staff,and great view. Last time I was there was a busy Saturday night and I was with 5 friends. Our waitress remembered every detail of our order without writing it down. Everyone raved about their food the sirloin steak was the best ever and the She Crab fries were mouthwatering! I'll be back 10/19 to see the Tyler Nichols Band and enjoy another amazing meal with friends.“

“I had a pleasant Veterans Day. Service was a little hectic but was still moving at a fair pace. Staff was friendly, I waited 20 minutes for a table but was sent to the bar which I apparently could have gone straight to but lesson learned.

Place was pretty dirty, I really hope the kitchen was better.

“I’ve been coming here for about 5 months and I cannot say enough good things about this place! It’s my home away from home, the staff knows me well and when I walk in it feels like an episode of Cheers.
The food is excellent and the drinks are great! Excited to see what comes next“

“This was our 1st visit & 1st time hearing of this place; we're out of towners & were visiting our daughter (an SMCM student) who chose this restaurant. The smells emanating from their kitchen to the parking lot were so delicious & enticing, who wouldn't wait for a seat? After a short 10 min for a table & not long after being seated, the server got our drink orders. My only issue w/ the server was that she kept running off before we were finished ordering or could even ask a question, she was nowhere to be seen except on the few occasions she came to check on us, yet we repeatedly had to ask for drink refills. When you see empty glasses on the table-why not ask if they'd like a refill? I guess it frees you up to not be running for drinks & saves them $$, but when you're spending your hard earned $$ in there, you don't wanna leave thirsty. The food arrived fairly quickly & was hot. My daughter got the meatloaf & I got a cheeseburger; they had to be an entire lb. each, no exaggerating; but the other portion sizes were enough to sate the avg appetite, and no leftovers. But everyone enjoyed the food, we had cheeseburger & meatloaf to take home. The prices were pretty avg for this type of restaurant. I'd definitely go back again.?

Parking: The lot is kinda small & on the weekend parking can be tricky @ dinner time. May have to wait for someone to leave or park in a different, further lot.“

“The Ironwood is the restaurant/pub attached to the Breton Bay Country Club golf course. I'd call it a pub in the sense that it's more of the family and friend meeting place than a country club restaurant. We've been down there for years as they host the community Christmas tree lighting where Santa visits to throw the switch and visit with all of the neighborhood kids. Food is standard pub fare with some more deli style sandwiches and service is perfect. If the Ironwood comes back as an option when you search restaurants, don't ignore it. You'll love, especially in the warmer months, the chance to eat outside with a view of the golfers wasting all of their good swings on the driving range.“

“We don't typically wander out on Sunday mornings but found our way to IHOP on a whim. It was busy as the southern maryland woke up and church goers started to arrive but the serving staff handled it admirably. I'm sure that there's some statistical analysis that went into the size of the "personal coffeepot" you get when you order but I find a pot of coffee that holds enough for one and a half cups plain odd. Staff was on the ball retrieving sweetener and cream. Food was great. Not surprising. It always is. Keep in mind, if you arrive between 9 and 10AM, you're beating the after church rush.“

“Food was good, but the server I had was inattentive. She just gave me my food and said here you go and walked away. I had hoped she would come back so I could get ketchup. I had to ask another server to get it for me. Since I had a burger with a lot of sauce on it I needed napkins to wipe my hands. Once again no sign of my server. I asked another server walking by if she could get me some napkins. She brought me cocktail napkins. Pretty much useless when trying to wipe sauce off your hands! My server finally showed when I was almost finished eating up to ask me if I wanted anything or the bill. A friend of mine said thyey had poor service there as well. Train your servers and may I will come back one day.“
