“I had fried chicken and French fries, and it was exactly how I like it. It was well done and well-seasoned. Actually, it was the best and had it twice in a row. He listened to what I wanted, and he made it happened.“
“What a great experience I had with this place. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming, the food is made with love and prepared with such flavor. I HIGHLY recommend coming here and supporting these good folks. 10/10 the Fufu, egusi w/ white fish and okra soup w/ mackerel.“

“I have been to many Nigerian restaurants in the DMV area and this establishment is BY FAR the best! Top service that makes you feel like you are visiting your auntie, great tasting and FRESH food, coupled with very reasonable prices. I make it a point to buy dinner for my family from Auntie Mary almost every Saturday! I highly recommend this restaurant...you will not be disappointed!“

“Food was amazing. I ordered Egusi soup (veg), Eforiro, cheesteak and chicken. Unfortunately the cheesesteak and chicken was not available but the Egusi and eforiro was OUTSTANDING. I ordered from Grubhub, the store called to tell me the (American) food was not available due tot he time of day it was. She was very pleasant and willing to do whatever to accommodate me. I can not wait to order or visit again.“

“The food is really good! I got jollof, fried rice with tilapia, turkey. Got beans and corn, ayamase sauce. Very delicious and fresh!
Only thing is make sure you call ahead to place your order, it’s not a dine in restaurant.
I fully recommend the food!“
“Hands down one of the best Jollof rice I have ever had. I mean everything is so delicious. Everything is well made / cooked. Seasonings, spices, & etc were on point. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Can’t wait to come for more!!“
“I ordered from Grubhub. The Suya was nice and tender and flavorful I will order that again… I Also ordered the okra soup which in my opinion had a very strong fishy smell. But still eatable only big dislike is the portion it’s very small for the price. My portion wasn’t event to half the bowl.“

“Let me tell you—if it’s your first time at Jollof Bowl and you feel a little overwhelmed by the choices, don’t worry at all. The staff is super helpful and really takes their time guiding you through everything. They even let me sample different items before deciding, and gave great suggestions based on what I liked.
The food was amazing. If you enjoy spicy, flavorful dishes, this is definitely the spot for you. It honestly feels like a “Chipotle” version of West African flavors. I wasn’t able to eat the meat at the time, but even the rice with the marinara-style sauce was so good. And the spicy coleslaw? Absolutely next level… I loved it. Definitely will be back for the meat“

“YO, BALTIMORE—DROP EVERYTHING AND RUN TO PAPARAZZI GRILL ON PARK HEIGHTS AVE RIGHT NOW!!! 😱🇳🇬 This place is straight-up THE BEST-KEPT NAIJA SECRET in the whole city—authentic West African fire that will RUIN all other food for you!!! I swear on everything, I walked in last week and the aromas SLAPPED me in the face like “Welcome home!” 🍲💥
The JOLLOF RICE??? OH. MY. GOD. 🤯 Perfectly smoky, that legendary party-jollof char, spiced to PERFECTION—not greasy, just pure magic! Paired it with the grilled peppered fish platter and I’m still dreaming about it: flaky fish exploding with spice, crispy fried plantains that melt in your mouth, fresh coleslaw, and that zesty sauce that ties it all together like a boss. PORTIONS SO MASSIVE I ate like a king and had leftovers for days!!! 👑🍚
Then I hit the BEEF SUYA—thin slices marinated in secret spices, grilled to smoky perfection, loaded with onions, tomatoes, and cucumber. NUTTY, SPICY KICK that had me sweating and smiling!!! 🌶️🔥 Everything halal, super fresh, made with LOVE.
Staff? Like family—incredibly friendly, quick service, chatting and hyping your order. Spot is clean, cozy vibes (even if it’s small), prices are an absolute STEAL ($10-15 for platters that DESTROY fancy chains), and parking is easy-peasy.
If you’re in Park Heights, Pimlico, or anywhere in Bmore—SKIP the overpriced downtown spots!!! This is where the real locals feast. I’m already addicted… next visit: ASUN ALL THE WAY!!! Baltimore, we NEEDED this gem!!! 🌟🌟🌟 #JollofKings #NaijaFire #BaltimoreEats #WestAfricanBmore #PaparazziGrillOrBust #FoodgasmAlert 🍴🇳🇬💯

“Best Kenyan Nyama Choma (Grilled Meat) on the east coast hands down. So we all love a good hole in the wall eatery and thats definitely the vibe here. Covid killed the traffic into this place but that's fine cuz there's less of a wait. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Simple menu but sooo good. The ambiance is lacking but my eyes were closed as I capture the flavour of the food in every bite so it didn't matter. I meet the owner and he was so nice, inviting and extremely accommodating. Take away is also always an option. If your contemplating getting food from here just stop reading reviews and place your order now, then thank me later. This man knows his craft. Things to remember: at the moment its cash only and since your getting real authentic african style grilled meat there will be a wait but it will be worth every second. Your Welcome.“

“Having been a soldier and traveling the entire globe I can consider myself a picky experienced food connoisseur. So I must reject some of the other reviews and share my own experience. The staff were thankful, polite, informative, and the food was ready relatively quickly. The flavor varies between your own choices of heat and/spice levels. My wife had shrimp suya and fish suya and jollof and loved it. I had the egusi with meat/pounded yam, and turkey tips.
The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean. The ambience was delightful. The music was entertaining, and they boxed up our food before departing (huge in my book). Also, the restaurant is BYOB!! We cannot wait for the outside area to be open in the summer.“
