“Took my family of five, and OMG so much fun for the kids and us adults. Our server tonight (7/16) was Jonah, I asked him if he was the manger figuring by the way he buzzed about, constantly checking on all the tables, helping ensure everyone was at the right temps, not burning the place down, getting all their little plates situated. He did such a great job with us and everyone else, was pleasent, not rushed and just over all am excellent server. GREAT job JONAH!! Keep at it, your work ethic will take you far in this world!”

“We had an incredible experience at Patowmack Farm, thanks in large part to our amazing server John and his trainee Paul. John was incredibly attentive, sensitive to our table’s needs, and struck the perfect balance of being knowledgeable and genuinely funny. He made us feel completely taken care of without being overbearing. Paul, under John’s guidance, was professional and already showing great instincts. Their teamwork was seamless and added something truly special to the night. Can’t wait to return and hope to see them both again!”

“I had an amazing experience at this restaurant ( I think my favorite restaurant ) yesterday . I had to change the time of my reservation while already at the restaurant due to late arrival of the others in my group. They graciously switched the reservation . Enrico was very helpful with a few other concerns I had about my group. The bartender was friendly and made an amazing drink while I waited for my company to arrive . Our waiter Marcello was wonderful and the food was melt in your mouth delicious ! They also have gluten free pasta and pizza dough in case someone in your group is gluten free. Can’t say enough about this restaurant that makes you feel like you are part of the family !”

“This place is a hidden gem! The owner is the one who took care of my order and he was the sweetest man! He recommended the lamb schwarma and the falafel. And they were incredible!! Seriously the best Mediterranean food I’ve had! I really appreciated that the owner explained that he makes all of the food to order and nothing it “ready to eat” because he wants to provide the freshest, best food to his customers. There’s a great shared courtyard area right out front with picnic tables. Highly recommend! And the owner gave me a taste of the baklava - it is sooooo good!”

“We had mission cater my son’s graduation party and let me tell you what a wonderful experience from initial quote to the end of the party! Kyla and Kayla in the catering department were so professional and great to work with on getting everything we needed for the party. We decided to add a seasonal dessert after placing original order and the process was seamless! When we arrived at the Frederick location everything was packed up and ready to go. However we realized that the dessert wasn’t on the order and I was able to provide confirmation of the change to original order. That’s when the Frederick team immediately took action and told me they would have to make the dessert fresh as it is not their current seasonal dessert. They took down the address of the party and my phone number and about an hour later Pitmaster Juan showed up with the fresh peach cobbler and even an extra quart on the house!! Thank you mission bbq Frederick and the catering crew for your swift action in making everything delicious and wonderful experience!! You all are amazing!!!”

“I’ve gotten assorted treats from Nikkie and her awesome team for years, but our most recent experience was by far the best. We ordered a custom cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday. I sent a few inspiration photos and my budget and let them know I also had a cake topper I wanted to use. Faith suggested a couple options in my budget that would customize it to our Cinderella theme and Nikkie helped to finalize the choices. When I picked up the cake I was stunned; it was perfect and when our daughter saw it she was absolutely enchanted. The birds and ribbons from Cinderella are one of her favorite parts of the movie, and they brought the entire thing to life. Everyone at the party commented on how gorgeous (and delicious) the cake was and we ate nearly the entire thing. My heartfelt thanks go to the entire team at Sage for adding such a memorable touch to our daughter's birthday celebration. Your skill, creativity, and attention to detail are truly appreciated!”

“Long post ahead, warning! I walked in around 9 pm and the hostess didn't bat an eye at my dining alone, and didn't say anything about it, which I appreciate. I was seated right away with no problems and immediately got a chance to look over the menu. I will admit, it took a little bit longer than expected for my waiter to come over, but as a lone diner I sort of expected that. I looked like I was waiting for someone, I'm sure. The look and feel of the place was very upscale, but they didn't have any problems with me walking in wearing a nerdy t-shirt. I was seated in this cute little booth for 2 with curtains on the side so, if I wanted a more private dinner, I could have it. It was a cute touch! The restaurant also offered patio dining and since it's by the creek, that would have been a downright charming experience were it not the usual Maryland summer. Despite having a bar, the restaurant was respectably quiet and low-key, making it an easy dining experience. I wasn't in the mood for something wild, and this place really hit the nail on the head. My first waiter Kevin, however, was the picture of polite helpfulness. He answered all of my questions, made some wonderful suggestions, and was incredibly pleasant to talk to. I was delighted to find out that this place takes part in DC restaurant week, so I was able to take part in that promotion. Under a suggestion from Kevin, I ordered a glass of their moscato (I wanted something light and sweet), and the wine was so good I brought home a whole bottle. Not really on them, but it does reflect their excellent selection. Dinner itself was delicious. The red pepper soup was refreshing and flavorful, without being too filling. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and was flavored in the perfect way to make the actual flavor of the meat shine. The potatoes were both light and fluffy, but also had the little chunks of potato that I prefer in my mashed. The best part was desert. About halfway through my appetizer, Kevin introduced my other waiter, Maddy, who took over after he went home. She was as much of a delight as he was, and made possibly the best recommendation of the night. Desert was this blackberry tart that I did not have room for but could not put down. Gooey and crumbly all at once, with a warm center that was almost caramel-y even though it was fruit based. Topped with a light cream to balance it all out, it was absolutely delicious. I will be thinking of that tart all day tomorrow. The prices on the menu were a little high, but I wouldn't go so far to say they were unreasonable. If I had wanted a cheaper option, I could have gone to any chain restaurant ever. In the grand scheme of downtown Frederick, with it's many small businesses and one of a kind dining experiences, I think this was reasonable. For reference, a lot of meals were between $20 and $30, but a good steak is almost always $30+. Despite the price, I had an exceptional dining experience, and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for upscale dining, without the upscale requirements.”

“I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash (I’m a bit of a homebody) but I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their sushi burritos are! Easily the best sushi I’ve had. All of the ingredients taste so fresh, even after the 15-20 minute drive to my house! I’m not a huge tea fan, but love popping bobas, so I just order it with extra sugar! Today, I tried their macarons and they were also unbelievably delicious. I am so glad to have this restaurant as an option in my city!”
